Adding fuel to the fire, PJ used some very nice video cameras to record this tour. I would be more surprised if the No Code and Yield CD/DVD didn't materialize than if it did.

I noticed the cameras too. Very good quality and very active--my son commented that it looked like they were 'filming for a documentary'

I think it´s safe to say everyone´s head would explode if they introduced the concept of video bootlegs (even if it would take half a year/full year from them to get released) :D

Does anyone else think that they'll be waiting for the 20th anniversary in 2016 for the reissue?

I don't think so, neither Ten or Vs/Vitalogy sets where released on their 20th anniversaries. The Ten reissue was out on 24 March 2009 and Vs/Vitalogy sets 25 March 2011.

Whatever happened to the instant classic idea? They just did it once for Missoula and that was it. I didn't think at the time that would be so rare that 2 years would go by without another.
That said, not much point to the concept beyond the charity aspect. It was only released on CD and for download. Really only makes any difference from the regular boots if it's on vinyl. And they have other ways to encourage charity. Just wondering I guess, since one of these two shows make me think "instant classic".

This + R&R HOF. Especially if its a low key 2015 (giving Jeff and Ed plenty of time to put together the notebook).

I would prefer a BluRay release of the Moline show (and Milwaukee if they are feeling really motivated).

If reissues of these albums ever see the light of day, I would rather have them include a good sounding bootleg (& BluRay if possible) of a show from the '96 tour (& '98 tour for a Yield reissue).

I have the complete CD polaroids set ..

    image

I'm hoping to save up & purchase the complete vinyl No Code polaroid set. Someday .. Was thinking about just buying up a few of those unofficial bootleg No Code vinyls that are made & sold in Europe ..

But it would be pretty cool if they did include like a mini poster inside every box set of the next reissue. I see the same dude on eBay is selling the same No Code "uncut insert sheets~ONE OF A KIND". Dude says item condition is "mint" but in the description it say's "may have gentle bend along edge". Included in the photos. Well, that's not what you call mint. lol

It's odd that they haven't released a boot of that show. Maybe they didn't bother setting up the equipment that night?

I think that is a pretty safe assumption since the first 2 boxsets were 90-92 and 93-95

I just hope they still have some unreleased gems from that era???

If the No Code/Yield performances from 2014 are going to be in the set (and I hope they aren't as I'd rather them do something from that time period), they won't announce it until well are we've bought the official bootlegs of those two shows. Otherwise people would wait on the box set rather than buying the bootlegs. As fun as all of this is, it is still important to remember it is still a business.
