my first cd i still have...Soundgarden's Superunknown.
    Live Free or Die!
  • fuck cant remember me first cd, think it was one of the first albums by RHCP or an early REM one. but can remember my first music casette, it was INXS - kick (ha ha) and my first vinyl was meatloaf - bat out of hell.
...Pearl Jam, a group filled with pride, passion, and intricate musicianship. Their music is full of subtle textures, rich color, soul-searching power, imagery, and eerie dissonance.

The first cd (or album of any sort for that matter) was Travis Tritt: Greatest Hits From the Beginning back in 8th grade or so. Still probably the all-time most played cd out of my entire collection. It really is good if you like that sort of thing. I know he's not gonna be very popular here (I'm not much of a country fan nor have I been for about 8 years). I still think it's a solid album.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Joe Jackson's original pressing of Will Power.

Second was Laurie Anderson's Big Science...

    The year was 1986.

First CD I ever bought - Aerosmith - Nine Lives
I bought it in Germany where I was on an Exchange trip. Bought it from my pocket money but my parents decided that pocket money didn't cover buying CDs so I had to return the cost of it from my own money, haha. :)
Why do I keep fuckin' up?

My first cd was In Utero.

Don't remember my first cassette, probably something Bluegrass.

My first record is a proud one for me, Madonna "Like a Virgin". I was a proud four year old singng Material Girl :D

(for the record, I think I have owned Ten well more than 10 times. Had the cassette first, then the cd a couple of times, then the vinyl, then the cd a few more times...and I bought quite a few of No Code, cassette and cd so that I could collect all the different polaroids)
