All I can think of is Sleater-Kinney. Although I don't know if anything could measure up to the last weekend in Portland. God that was so, oh, words can't describe. Any S-K show is worth seeing though, even if their equipment malfunctions and Carrie reads to the audience, and they have S-K karaoke.
I'd pick the original Who as a #2 though. Oh! And Elliott Smith.if you wanna be a friend of mine

AIC is tempting (tho they're touring with a different singer now - anyone seen them? Any good? My bro saw them at Rock Am & said they were great, but he didn't really know them...)
...Also the Doors... but I think it'll have to be Faith No More!
