  • It's got to be Led Zeppelin...circa 1975 would be great but I'm not fussed....:D

Runners up- Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Beatles.

If and when they reunite next year, I'm not buying a ticket. Saw them on the '96 Mellon Collie tour...extremely disappointed.

I think this way in regards to the original line-up of Van Halen. Saw them twice. The first time (Diver Down tour) is the worst concert that I ever attended. The second show(1984 tour), which I am still surprised that I bought a ticket for it, was quite good. I actually wish that I had seen the band with Sammy Hagar as the lead singer. Back in 1983, I saw Sammy open for ZZ Top. That was a great show.

Thank you who ever posted Queen......the original band should have been on my list.

I would have also liked to have seen Genesis with Peter Gabriel out front.

Early Grateful Dead, 68-71, while Pigpen was still around.
Dylan on either the Rolling Thunder tour or w/ the Band
Dead Kennedys (Original Lineup with Jello, not the impostors currently touring)
    Jaco Pastorious/Weather Report
Neil Young & the International Harvesters
Neil Young & the original lineup of Crazy Horse
    Harry Chapin
    Sam Cooke

(Saw Blind Melon open for Neil Young in '93, along with STP. Blind Melon were great, STP was pretty bad)
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Worth the price of admission plus.....saw them on the "Ghost In The Machine" tour in 1982. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were the opening act.

  • The Beatles minus all of the screaming girls in the crowd. I really wish I was alive in the 60's and 70's. Minus Pearl Jam today, theres not much quality music out there that really moves me beyond belief. To be able to see Sir Paul and Mr. Lennon in person- Id die a happy man.

    Alice in Chains

Took me about 1 second to answer this question

although I did see Page and Plant in 98, that was fucking awesome. I had some reservations that they wouldn't be able to bring it but they proved they are still the gods of rock. It was 95% Led Zeppelin songs.

My most recent concert was Audioslave and it was the best one I have ever witnessed. They played Spoonman, Outshined and Black Hole Sun, so I can be satisfied there. Plus, like I said, the concert was unfucking beleivable.

Alice in Chains, saddly the closest I could probably get to seeing them will be a Jerry Cantrell show. I do look forward to that guitarfest some day.
