well, I think it was back in early 1997 at 14 years old,... I got this 5 all at once:

    1- Ten (pearl jam)

    2- VS (pearl jam)

    3- Sublime (Sublime)

    4- Soundgarden (A-Sides)

5- Blind Melon (Nico) .... I remember I wanted to get their debut because of No Rain but they didn't have it so I got Nico instead and loved it!

First tape..MC Hammer "please Hammer, dont hurt 'em"..i was in grade 3 or something. I think I still have it somewhere..

As I got older I started getting into rock, but mainly listened to tapes..all my early nirvana and pearl jam listening was on tapes..I can't even remember the first actual CD I bought..probably a "grunge" album though

First CD - Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska

First LP - Oingo Boingo - Good For Your Soul
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I got into the CD game a little late. I bought two at Best Buy when I also bought my first CD player. The discs were Rev Horton Heat's Liquor in the Front Poker in the Rear and Ministry's Land of Rape and Honey.
