  • Whoever said Kid A, you're out your mind - fantastic album.

    Some I found disappointing:

Because of the Times - Kings of Leon
    Amputechture - The Mars Volta
    Riot Act - Pearl Jam
Lullabies to Paralyse - Queens of the Stone Age
the needle & the damage done

I strongly agree with billy corgans solo album.. it was rubbish... I can't get into Kid A but this doesnt mean its a bad album I just dont understand it. I don't like Oasis anyway so its all rubbish to me even Morning Glory.

I think Audioslave had a decent first record on their hands even though I was never a big fan but now they have released to of the most dissappointing albums of any major big or important band of the last 20 years especially seeing the talent in that band.
um yea revelations was as good as their first, i do concur with the crapness of the 2nd album. a bit over the top for the talent 20 years comment

    To all you Audioslave haters....

Out of Exile and Revelations were fucking awesome albums!!!! Their first album was their worst IMO. It was a great album, but it sounded incomplete to me. Parts of it sounded like they were trying to be Soundgarden, the other parts sounded like Rage. The other two albums had their own sound to them.

I agree. But I also think that self-titled was probably their best. The songs were just really raw and the production matched that.

    Agreed.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

  • I have to disagree with Kid A and Room On Fire. Both of those are amazing.

I'll go with these two at the moment:

    Weezer - Green
    SOAD - Hypnotize/Meserize

Live - V (TDTH was their last good album)
    Pearl Jam - s/t
    NIN - Year Zero
Tool - Lateralus (Ænima last good album)

i hope pj and nin arent the latest to join this group of bands. i atleast liked their previous albums from the ones i listed as let downs. so they are only one in the whole. unlike tool and live i have now given up on them.

I thought Tiny Music, was a spectacular record, right up there with purple. Now No. 4 and the one after that were horrible in my opinion.
