Save us from another indie band please0

There is a band with a weekend hole in their schedule playing down the street that can sell a lot of tickets.matt84 said:
Jack White, The Strokes and EV would definitely be underwhelming, especially for the 10th Anniversary. I’m expecting at least one big stadium band to be headlining.stones said:I do find it interesting that the level of artists "rumoured" so far are not exactly considered clear-cut headliners. Over the past few years there's usually been at least one stadium level band, be it the Foo Fighters, Green Day, RHCP, The Killers, or even PJ themselves, it has become the norm for at least one headliner who could headline a much bigger festival which obviously helps sell tickets.
Only speculating of course and no disrespect intended, but if the headliners do turn out to be: Jack White, The Strokes and EV that could feel a little underwhelming for the 10th anniversary....
Of course, I'm well aware rumours mean nothing and remain hopeful that there's a big name surprise lined up.

If it is the Strokes, Jack White, and Eddie headlining I might have to change my plans and go.0
-
I doubt eddie, jack white and the strokes are the headliners, but we could see two of them on one night0
-
I could see Jack White and The Strokes being the act that are on before the main act (like Kings of Leon were on before Ed last year).0

I second that. (Not available 9/26)gotthebottle said:

There is an understandable tendency within these forums to focus thoughts on rock acts for Ohana, but it has had a few headliners who lean much more pop such as Pink, Sting (replacing Uncle Neil) and even Hozier (last year) as well.
The Billie Eilish rumor is not that far fetched nor would I be shocked to see someone like (self confessed PJ fan) Olivia Rodrigo on the lineup.0 -
I would love Olivia... when acts like her show up at Ohana people like me who would never see her full show get a great exposure to their talent0
-
Olivia would be awesome to see/hear live!! 💗0

Someone on Ohana FB page said it was “unconfirmed confirmed” (whatever that means so obviously not reliable) that it was Billie Eilish PJ JW and FF. I’d sacrifice seeing her to able to see the other 3.stones said:There is an understandable tendency within these forums to focus thoughts on rock acts for Ohana, but it has had a few headliners who lean much more pop such as Pink, Sting (replacing Uncle Neil) and even Hozier (last year) as well.

Would love to see Billie Eilish, JW and FF!
(Obviously PJ but unlikely for all the reasons mentioned before)#Grievance20250 -
I would be delighted with that lineup, I don’t listen to Billie Eilish personally but the rest more than compensates… but yeah I have my doubts… I feel like the least likely would be Foo Fighters. Their current schedule is Bourbon & Beyond in Kentucky on Thursday night, then Vegas on Saturday. That would mean Ohana would be on Sunday. It’s not completely impossible but it would be the only time all year that they play back to back nights and they usually schedule 2-3 days between shows.dlymnfld said:

[edit] Having given it a little thought, I really can’t see that PJ are going to bring in a new drummer, rehearse, load up the trucks with gear and their road crew, just for a one off show - even for the Ohana 10th anniversary…Post edited by stones on0
