OHANA 2026 (10th Anniversary) - Wish list / expectations

Beck announced his tour and he has dates in San Francisco on Sept 25/26. The Sunday Ohana show would be possible in theory, but that would mean him doing shows 3 nights in a row.gus stills said:I’m hoping this whole tenth anniversary has new bands, but also at least one returnee from years past. With the Beck, Strokes, Pixies rumors, sounds like I’m on to something. Also—since Brian Fallon has been on the lineup a couple times (but not actually played), maybe third time’s the charm!First show: Mansfield N1 1998
Last show: Pittsburgh N2 2025
Show count = 800 -
unless I missed something there have been zero rumor's, just wants and hopes. for example the Strokes, zero rumors, only wishes.0

Other than Ed showing up… all hopes, wants, dreams… an best guesses 😂0

Sugar, Bob Mould's post-Husker Du band will be in the vicinity. And, as I think someone else mentioned, Pixies are winding down a tour around the same time (that doesn't include any SoCal dates).0

PJ's XM channel this morning had some people talking about Ohana, and then they immediately after played a song by The Strokes. Could be a possible hint?0

Pretty good hint for sure and maybe we get some
silhouettes today to hold us over to next week with the potential line-up release!

I’ll be shocked if The Strokes aren’t one headliner. Honestly be happier if they were support as I’m not a huge fan (saw them at PJ20 wasn’t blown away) but they just make sense with their other festival shows.JeBurkhardt said:PJ's XM channel this morning had some people talking about Ohana, and then they immediately after played a song by The Strokes. That would make that day an easy pass for me. Saw them open for RHCP a couple of years ago and it reminded me of that time Colin Farrell was on SNL as Bono.dlymnfld said:

I think some of the rumoured acts are based on who's touring around the Ohana dates, seem to be available and even in some cases already have shows announced nearby.DEGBTI said:unless I missed something there have been zero rumor's, just wants and hopes. for example the Strokes, zero rumors, only wishes.
That includes The Strokes, Jack White, Brandi Carlile and Beck - plus a few others I might have missed.0 -
The Pixies, Geese and The Offspring as openers also rumored due to tours.stones said:

Geese and Goose are two different bands, correct?dlymnfld said:

This is like alt rock's version of Lil Baby and Da Baby.0 -
wishful thinking, but maybe a solo Michael Stipe performance0

I do find it interesting that the level of artists "rumoured" so far are not exactly considered clear-cut headliners. Over the past few years there's usually been at least one stadium level band, be it the Foo Fighters, Green Day, RHCP, The Killers, or even PJ themselves, it has become the norm for at least one headliner who could headline a much bigger festival which obviously helps sell tickets.
Only speculating of course and no disrespect intended, but if the headliners do turn out to be: Jack White, The Strokes and EV that could feel a little underwhelming for the 10th anniversary....
Of course, I'm well aware rumours mean nothing and remain hopeful that there's a big name surprise lined up.0 -

Yeah Geese are the current darlings of the indy rock scene. Goose are a bit older, and considered a jam band.kaw753 said:

Jack White, The Strokes and EV would definitely be underwhelming, especially for the 10th Anniversary. Yes. I’d much rather Goose than Geese but Geese is on the rise as they just did SNL. Geese is “indie” rock but sounds like a bunch of noise to me. Goose is a jam band similar to Phish but do some pretty cool covers too. Goose did Ohana in the past.kaw753 said:
