Pretty good. Suffers from the lore not being a mystery this time though. But still fun.

Nice. Think this new Spawn movie will ever get off the ground? Me thinks not.0

Wake In Fright (aka Outback) comes to mind though I haven’t watched it in 20 yrs or so.Spiritual_Chaos said:Anyone here of the top of your head, who can list some films that has "fever dreams" or sequences that are shjot very nightmarish and fucked up. Like Fear and Loathing has an acid-sequence. From Hell I think has an absinth dream sequence, but barely remembers it. Scenes that are very fucked up in the look/use of the camera and lenses etc. Looking for references for a thing.0 -
Will check out Wake in Fright. Thanks for suggestions. I got some references from 90s music videos also."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

^oh man! I LOVED this movie as a kid. In the woods in the middle of my neighborhood, someone carved out multiple berms and jumps out of the dirt and we spent our days catching air all summer. So much fun.
Not sure how the move is now. 😂0 -

^ Now, this is why I like going into movies as blind as possible. Hadn't even watched a trailer. And I was treated to Tarantino meets The People Under the Stairs meets Ready or Not. Ready or Not mystery lore, P.U.T.S. creepiness and atmosphere, and Tarantino's gore and excessive blood.1996: 9/29 Randall's Island 2, 10/1 Buffalo 2000: 8/27 Saratoga Springs

Jessie Buckley is a great actress and this was unsettlingly interesting.
Not my favorite opening sequence, but enjoyed it overall."For when the music hits, I feel no pain at all"

Need to watch Sirat. Loved Buckley, but I’m a big fan, so a bit biased.Spiritual_Chaos said:In the Cut (35mm) - ⭐★★★★

I found it very entertaining.... It was marketed as a horror though, which it isn't. Rachel McAdams did a great job in it.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0
