    Great info^
I sorted, threw out and picked apart some dried hot lemon chilies from my garden. They smell fantastic. Sweet fruity heat. Plan to add to some peach salsa. Maybe make a batch of green chili. Any other suggestions?

PS when they tell you to wear gloves handling hot peppers. Do it. (I didn't and will spare you the details)

There’s nothing like good Chinese food once in a while.

Moderation is key. But it also depends on the individual health profile. For me it is carbs and sugar, for others it may fat or salt. That said, nothing healthy about Sesame Chicken, General Tso's or Crab Rangoon! Damn good though!

I second the need for gloves. Been there done that and it wasn't my eyes that burned. Those chili's look unique. How spicy are they? Maybe a homemade hot sauce? Enchilada sauce? Ranchero sauce for eggs/breakfast dishes?  Maybe pickle them like jalapenos?

Absolutely agree. My diet is boring and consistent. I’m very routine. All my passions demand a lot physically so I have to stay on top of myself. Surfing and drumming are the extra push I need. But I have to indulge every now and then.

Sesamechicken, boneless spare ribs and fried wontons. Mmmmmmm

Ugh. Me too. I crave dim sum almost constantly. Doesn't help that pretty much the last cart dim sum place in all of Greater Vancouver is only 3 blocks from my home (which was the restaurant owned by Yan from Wok with Yan!! Canadians at least might remember that great show from back in the day!). I actively have to fight my desire for it daily!

I could live on shrimp rice rolls and bao or buns. Unfortunately I live in restaurant hell. There is one mediocre place but it is 30 minutes away by car. I have to go to NYC or even further to Queens to get the real deal.

Have good local places in burbs and in Philly
    So good.
My family is not huge on it (wife loves it but cant eat most and my son is picky) so I tend to sneak off amd do it solo.
    Always good
