    My team (OK, ONE of my teams) Utah just announced a partnership with some private equity firm. I won’t pretend to understand it but, based on what seem to be informed opinions in the Athletic, I don’t think this is a good thing for the fans. And, long term, probably not for the university either.

    it’s a little murky…he didn’t use the actual word “retiring”….he may take some cushy job in the athletic department. Some conspiracy theorists think he’s gonna take another job, but I can’t see that. Hope not.
