honest question. how much courage does it take to be a 30 year old man going and "debating" college kids in their late teens and early 20s?
    Honest answer:

The courage to risk his life! Just for providing a public forum and opportunity for open discussion? Charlie didn't pick and choose the people, their age, or questions they asked. (unlike the O'Biden admin). Now I gotta take a dump. God bless man kind.
i doubt very seriously that he believed he was risking his life going to college campuses and arguing with kids with less than 20 years life experience. that is not courage. that is trying to pump up his brand with the "prove me wrong" schtick against kids that barely have the experience to be able to. also judgementally quoting bible verses in speeches is not courageous either.

to me, that is about as useful you telling everyone you have to take a dump.
I get your point….. but those same kids are allowed to vote.

You are either seeking attention [name-calling removed by admin. See Posting Guidelines to preserve posting privileges.)

These people like Charlie and others on the other side receive death threats every day.  EVERY DAY.  Imagine going to work and receiving a death threat or having to wear a bullet proof vest.

So yeah - it takes balls to do what he did.

you question the use of the word God and you mock the ppl who believe.

You probably condone throwing words around like racist and Hitler regularly which further incites people and makes incidents like what happened on 9/10 more likely.

I agree that no one should have to go to work receiving death threats and having to wear a bullet proof vest.

  • Couple thoughts here’s since we are sharing our opinions.

    1. violence is wrong, in any capacity. It’s horrible what happened to CK and Melissa Hortman, her husband and Paul Pelosi.
    2. gun violence is real and needs to be addressed just not thoughts and prayers. 100th school shooting happened on Wednesday as well not 10 miles from my house. 2 kids were shot.
    3. We need leadership that doesn’t divide us but brings us together and the current administration is the least capable of this with their disgusting rhetoric. It needs to stop.
    4. The shooter was a white young male. Not a lunatic from the left or a tranny or an immigrant but rather from a gun loving family,  young white male from a conservative family. Someone tell Nancy Mace. The kid obviously is troubled and glad he was turned in to face the charges. What he did was 1000000% wrong.
    5. Using hate speech and denouncing women, minorities, immigrants to get clicks or views does NOT make you a hero, a legend or anything to be admired.
    6. Free speech is not a pass to degrade people/groups but it should be used to inspire.
    7. Things need to change or it’s just going to get worse. violence is not the answer.
    8. Hypocrisy is real
    9. This country is a mess right now and I’m not sure how it gets better, maybe a real president gets elected or better gun laws or better mental health resources or people start denouncing hate and get a spine.

For freedom of speech - because his ideas were different than mine and yours.

It’s a shame that people are looking to blame a party or hoping that the gunman was of a certain party - this goes for all sides.

We have dems calling Trump Hitler on a regular basis - we have republicans mocking and doing the same to dems. What do you expect of the lunatics who take those words literal? It’s an attack on all sides.

How about simply - look in the mirror and ask yourself what happened on 9/10 is that right? Is what happened on the subway right? Is what happened in MN right? We all know the answer

How about simply ridding yourself of a party and just think how can we get better? Which none of us have an answer - it’ll all be knee jerk at this point.

One answer that’s true is we can all agree be decent, be respectful, be logical.

And just look what trump said... Before we even knew who the shooter was he was blaming dems. The kid came from a maga family

The m*rder of Charlie Kirk was a moral travesty.

We can recognize that without ignoring that he repeatedly fanned the flames of political violence himself.  https://jacobin.com/2025/09/kirk-posobiec-political-violence-far-right/

  • No one should have to endure violence, physical or verbal from anyone based on their political views even if they are hate speech or whatever. You can ignore them, debate them or talk shit about them but no idea why someone has to lose their life over this bullshit?? It’s disgusting.  Maybe we treat everyone with kindness and I bet this stuff doesn’t happen any longer. Just a thought.

These people like Charlie and others on the other side receive death threats every day.  EVERY DAY.  Imagine going to work and receiving a death threat or having to wear a bullet proof vest.

So yeah - it takes balls to do what he did.

you question the use of the word God and you mock the ppl who believe.

You probably condone throwing words around like racist and Hitler regularly which further incites people and makes incidents like what happened on 9/10 more likely.
well i can't read your original post, so i don't know what you called me, nor do i care.

i am sorry, did he wear a bulletproof vest that day? not that i saw. wouldn't have helped in his case anyway. he had an option of not going on a tour if he was that concerned about his safety. he had his own security. where were they on 9/10? he was a millionaire, he could have afforded better than what he had, because they clearly did not look at the tops of the surrounding buildings, which is security 101. you want to blame someone, blame the shooter and the security that did not have people on the rooftops.

the only thing i said about god in an earlier post was god called him home, and if people were so upset about it, maybe question god about it, since it was His plan.

and yes, i study history. i do say the words racist when things are blatantly or subtly racist, and i do call people hitler when they do the exact same things hitler did. do you know what hitler did during his rise to power? if you did, you would see some parallels. i assume you don't know, so i will allow you this opportunity to do some research.

i expect an apology from your boy trump for making all democrats targets with his post shooting spouting of bullshit before they even had a suspect. he is lighting matches AND fanning flames more than anybody on this message board.
