Another fucking thing where the fuck is the front line the poster above speaks of what front line?
The front line is the American college campus.  Who would have guessed that college students lean left? Here's a 2020 source. https://www.realcleareducation.com/articles/2020/11/25/are_students_liberal_yes__but_not_everywhere_110512.html  He was killed on a college campus, where he worked, so yes, that is the front line.

A dumbed down ignorant populace allows them to get their cultist politicians elected and to implement their hateful policies.

the only reason this inept fbi even caught the shooter is because his family basically turned him in. giving them a medal for that is like giving a kid a medal for tying their shoe.
How else were they going to catch him? They had his print but wasn't a match to anyone known. They caught him in less than 36 hours, I think that's pretty good. They went through probably thousands of hours of video to see how he fled, what car he drove and the path he took that allowed them to find the gun. They find the best pictures, enhance the video to release to the public which put pressure on his family to convince him to turn himself in.
I don't know what you expect the FBI to have done differently to get it solved in less time.
As far as a medal, I don't know enough about what kinds of medals and how often they are handed out to make much of a comment on that part.
the medal thing was a joke. because trump just gives out medals for anything these days.

they may have done that work, but if he wanted to get away he could have gotten away. he went to his father and thankfully his dad turned him in. if he wanted to go on the run, he could have, and with patel firing everyone at the fbi, he may have been on the run for a long time.

you seem to know so much, do you think the misinformation leaking to the press was good or bad? was it helpful or not? why do we not know the truth right now? why is media reporting one thing and then a few hours later reporting the opposite?

this is a fucking shit show. but given that it is trump's government i expect nothing less.

I'm not trying to imply or claim that I know a lot. Just that this didn't seem like a terrible job on the part of the FBI. They weren't in charge when the shooting happened, they weren't in charge of security as far as I know. They were handed a situation with a sniper, no suspect and little information. And in 33 hours they had him in custody. You didn't answer my question though. What should the FBI have done differently to catch him in less than 33 hours?
What was leaked to the press? If you're talking about false stories that were reported by the news outlets, that's not the fault of the FBI. Other than that, I don't know what was leaked. The media is always trash in these circumstances, they want to be the first to report, not the first to be right. I wouldn't use poor media reporting as a reflection on the law enforcement.
Reports are coming out now that he was in group chats with friends where his friends were asking about the pictures and he was joking it was his Doppelgänger. I'm sure the dad realized if he didn't turn his son in, it was a matter of hours before someone else did.
He could have been on the run, but my guess is he was just hoping to not be identified and live his life. Living on the run is hard. It's pretty rare someone escapes from prison and lasts more than a couple weeks, if not just days or hours before being caught. Having the whole country looking for you, not able to get resources. And if that's what he wanted, what could the FBI have done differently to prevent that?

When Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag said, "Let's just give everybody guns and see who's the last one standing," he was making a point about violence in America, not being literal.

And yet some people here actually want to see people hung in public.   That's not only fucked up sick, but I guess Chuck's comment could also be taken as an example of how unfamiliar with history some folks are as to understanding how fucking pointless and useless that kind of approach is toward a problem.  Maybe try reading some history if you really believe that shit.
Brian you are so right.  It feels like only a matter of time before we have bear bating in arenas again.
Right! Along with throwing people who don't follow their cult to the lions or burning people at the stake.
