Thoughts on renewing TenClub membership?

My renewal date is coming up in a couple of weeks and for the first time since I joined in 2003, I am thinking of not renewing. I know it doesn't cost all that much, but at this point I'm not sure what I'm signing up for. I haven't really been interested in the solo shows and it's pretty obvious it's going to be quite awhile until they tour as a band again (not talking the random one-offs and festivals). What is everyone else doing with their memberships?

At $35 a year, it's cheap enough for me to just let auto-renew forever.  If I get even 1 show of GA tickets through my membership a year, it's worth the cost.

If you only planning on going to a show or two here and there in the future, and you're not located in New York or Philly, you can probably discontinue your membership and get tickets same day on the Fan to Fan market.

Other than tickets and the forum, there is nothing more to a membership at this point

I broke my 20+ year streak and took a year and a half off.   I didn't miss anything but the forum.   I lost my low member number but honestly I saw some of the best shows from 98-06 and due to the cost of everything these days I had no fomo from.missing the last couple of tours.  I came back just for the forum which to me was worth it.

That's not really much of a factor for me at this point. I was very active on it in the early 2000s, but I rarely visit anymore other than when there's a tour announcement or a show I have tickets for.

I'm not sure what real benefit there is to seniority, though. After 23 years of continuous membership, my seats are no better than they were when I first joined. In fact, they are a little bit worse and pretty much have been with every show/tour I've been to.

I'll renew as long as the band is together. Agreed that the benefits aren't very much at this point, but neither is the cost. I couldn't get pizzas delivered for $35.

I get it that it’s cheap, but I agree, what are we paying for at this point?  Most shows I can land better tickets nowadays within 72 hours of the show, rather than the rare chance I actually even get 10c tickets.
I am fortunate that I’ve got to see a ton of shows.  I think in 2024 I went like 5/11 for 10c tickets and went 0/6 in 2025.
If they continue to go with random draws for 10c tickets I hope they go back to one show, per city, per member for two night runs.  It was frustrating this year people landed GA for both Hollywood, FL shows while many of us got nothing.  If we can sit and refresh and put work in like 2006-2010, then fine, make it a free-for-all.

Plus no Christmas single anymore and I’ve never once bothered with the 10c tshirts; I’m a Pearl Jam fan, not a 10c fan.

I'm with you on the last bit as far as 10c the business goes...but I am a fan of 10c the community. Met some great people through here, have helped and been helped with tickets, learned who and who not to trust for intel, and had a great time chatting about the band. The Facebook groups are a mess IMO, and I instantly regret the rare occasions when I post there. The board here has increased value to me as a fan.

It's an easy choice for me since it's cheap enough to squat on my five digit member number. Other than that, just go read the list of benefits and decide if you think it's worth it with ticket privileges being a question mark.

It's worth it alone for the chance to get tix (whether GA or not) and not have to deal with TM and the F2F bullshit. Seeing how much time people had to put in to get tix to a show like FLA or Pitt on this last tour was insane. Not sure I would have the time or patience to do that.
