The ticket perk certainly isn't what it was in years past, but still in all, my odds of pulling GA tickets are higher with my 10C membership than they are without it; that in and of itself is worth the $35 a year to me.

Not to mention I've also made some great connections through the 10C, some of which have morphed into friendships outside of this forum, so yeah...I'll be renewing for the foreseeable future.

I bet if you email them and ask to have your membership terminated they will give you a refund.

I’ll always renew for the political talk on the non-political threads.

Been paying into it since 93 I’m not stopping now! I’ll just ride it out till the end who knows maybe Ed and the boys will want to thank the 10C community by doing a couple of 10C only shows but I won’t hold my Breath

I plan to keep renewing it until they stop touring.  I still use it to get tickets around every 2 to 3 years.  Sometimes more.  Not ready to give up the seniority yet :)

No way will I ever give up my 5-digit membership number.  It is still very valuable for getting great reserved seats.

^^This is about the only reason I keep my membership at this point. But as a Canadian who has no intention of visiting the US for the next 3.5 years my hope for a Canadian 10C show is pretty small. My membership just renewed but it might be my last year.

Renewal is not a question for me. Of course I’ll keep renewing for this place, for tickets etc. also the Tom Petty fan club is still active and offers different things to members, mostly merch.

If the forum stays like this I probably won’t renew.

Think of the more popular shows.  For Pittsburgh N1 I won great seats through the lottery, so $175 per.  I didn't win for N2, and paid over $300 each for comparable tickets.  Yes, they've cut the chances of winning ticket lotteries over the years, but it's still worth the membership fee as far as I'm concerned.

Then, you're paying about $135 less via 10 club.
You would be better off being a member if you catch them live within every 3 years or more. Or 6 years if you buy 2 tickets.

On year 4 or year 7 (if the band is still around) you break even.

And that's only if you win the lottery when you buy tickets.

I can't imagine why I wouldn't maintain my membership. This is my favorite band, and this is their fan club. The cost is minimal, and the benefits are well worth it. I get the opportunity to purchase tickets to as many shows as I want at face value before they go on sale to the general public. This opportunity has generally worked out well for me, if not always. I have a member number from the '90s so the seats are always excellent. I had one of the best experiences of my life in the spring of 2024 following this band around, and it was all made possible (and easy) because of my Ten Club membership. I'm not a merch guy, but I also appreciate the fact that membership also gets me access to member-exclusive items if I want them, especially recordings. And then I get access to this forum, which has enabled me to connect with and stay in touch with fellow fans I would have never met without the forum. And the forum also has some useful information from time to time. I love being able to come to the forum when there's new music, or after shows I've attended, or to hang out with people in the setlist threads for shows I'm not at. In sum, the Ten Club is a privilege and a bargain.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I’m lucky to live in an area that is centralized to many places that Pearl Jam tours frequently.  So the fan club is a no brainer since I live in NJ and can travel to Philly, Camden, and NYC with ease and also have Boston within a relatively short drive.

I get that people who live in certain areas may not see the same value in the membership that I do.
