    Finally made it through this.

I’d tried twice before and given up as I couldn’t get into it. It was ok, not sure I’ll make it through Part 2 anytime soon though.
Bummer. I really enjoyed both, but then again dystopian sci-fi is right up my alley.

I was fairly disappointed with this. The ending in particular was just silliness. I did enjoy Ralph Fiennes in it though. And luckily it was still a very enjoyable theatre experience, because we had the VIP theatre to ourselves, so were able to drink wine and grab freely the entire movie. Lots of fun.

    grab freely?

My thoughts on seeing the trailers were that it looked "too busy."  I think that was accurate, a few less characters, and fleshing them out would have been better.  But James Gunn knows how to juggle a large cast.  The action scenes were fun. And Mister Terrific was exactly that. Damn near stole the movie.

    It was ok.

It was a little too James Gunn-ish for my taste.

I had a problem with the person that showed up at the end, but I was told that is a comic-accurate depiction of that person, so I'm less tight about it.

And I had a major problem with the change to Superman's parents.

    Alien: Romulus

Best Alien movie in a long time.  Some stuff doesn't make sense, but I felt it captured the feeling of the first few movies.  Could have used a little more character setup to make you care about crew as they met their fate.

I generally liked it, but I'm a casual Marvel movie person. I thought the scenes with Lois and Clark were good and the guy who played Jimmy Olson was good.
