    Neighborhood pool does flicks and floats in the summer, but they are usually silly kid movies.

    Tonight was Jaws! Super fun. Took the kids. My son saw it a few years ago but my daughter had never seen it. She liked it but didn’t because 


    She was upset her favorite character, Quint, died. Robert Shaw is so good in this!

    I appreciated a bit of a new spin on a vampire movie, as I'm not a fan of vampire movies generally. I do feel like a serious music fan got distracted while attempting to make a movie, haha.

    Just read about this yesterday, so went out to catch it in theaters. Quite good. Plot presents as a post apocalyptic action movie, but the presentation is far more serious and deals with some interesting themes. After an intense opening, it settles into a bit of a slow burn, but when it kicks off again, it’s a doozy.

    Good performances and some well shot action. Danielle Deadwyler in the lead is fantastic.

    I had fun as well! Nothing new in it, but the set pieces were fun as was the cast. Appreciated all of the on location filming as well. Added to the realism.

    Finally made it through this.



    I’d tried twice before and given up as I couldn’t get into it. It was ok, not sure I’ll make it through Part 2 anytime soon though.
