Really enjoiyed this. Some of it was a little hard to watch!

Better than the last few, but nothing incredible. Some reimagined scenes from the original. And one scene was in the original book but never made it into the first movie.Melbourne #1 '98

Neighborhood pool does flicks and floats in the summer, but they are usually silly kid movies.
Tonight was Jaws! Super fun. Took the kids. My son saw it a few years ago but my daughter had never seen it. She liked it but didn’t becauseShe was upset her favorite character, Quint, died. Robert Shaw is so good in this!

PJ_Soul said:I sure hope nobody left when the credits started. The entire end of the movie is after some of the credits, lol.I appreciated a bit of a new spin on a vampire movie, as I'm not a fan of vampire movies generally. I do feel like a serious music fan got distracted while attempting to make a movie, haha.0

Just read about this yesterday, so went out to catch it in theaters. Quite good. Plot presents as a post apocalyptic action movie, but the presentation is far more serious and deals with some interesting themes. After an intense opening, it settles into a bit of a slow burn, but when it kicks off again, it’s a doozy.
Good performances and some well shot action. Danielle Deadwyler in the lead is fantastic.0 -

Whiplash, which feels like a strange coincidence now given the PJ drummer news.___________________________________________

I had fun as well! Nothing new in it, but the set pieces were fun as was the cast. Appreciated all of the on location filming as well. Added to the realism.0

PJ_Soul said:I was fairly disappointed with this. The ending in particular was just silliness. I did enjoy Ralph Fiennes in it though. And luckily it was still a very enjoyable theatre experience, because we had the VIP theatre to ourselves, so were able to drink wine and grab freely the entire movie. Lots of fun.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

Finally made it through this.I’d tried twice before and given up as I couldn’t get into it. It was ok, not sure I’ll make it through Part 2 anytime soon though.“Do not postpone happiness”
