Superman last week and Fantasti Four this week, with the 11 yr old son.
We both liked Superman more, although agreed FF is probably the 'better' movie.
    Superman was more fun
Neither were any great shakes, although both were way better than F1.  (Which is funny, because my friend who I went to F1 with insisted he wouldn't watch Superman....and then said F1 was shit after we saw it.)

    Popcorn, summer, fare.
Fun to movies with son and also to show him how to properly sneak in snacks.
    Lol

Also, the woman next to me sobbed pretty much uncontrollably during the climactic scenes of FF.
    Ffs, it was distracting.
    I hope she is OK.

It's tricky in the summer. Not enough clothes and deep pockets to sneak stuff in. Luckily yesterday was rainy and a little cool so had legit reason to carry a hoodie which had pockets filled with a couple of bottled drinks plus Reese's for my son. I still spent 10 bucks on popcorn, so they got some concession money.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    Haha.
Last weekend we paid full concession price which was $40+ for very little.
That is why this weekend I started the education.  He loved it.

Growing up in VT, we also had heavy coats half of the year, and could get away with many other months.  Could fit lots of beers in there during high school.  The problem was all of the empties.

Hoping my son is less of a jackal and keeps it to sodas or seltzers and nerd clusters.  (Which, are fucking disgusting and he insisted on picking that as what he wanted to get sprinkled on his popcorn, which we did purchase.)

Had a belt from running options to store stuff
It fit in candy, easily. The seltzers we brought in were more conspicuous,  but I don't think the kids working there care.  They probably are smart enough to dodge the ass rape concession fees as well.
