You're right. News isn't interesting when Fox News covers a story.
But, is it interesting when other news sources cover the same story?

Ummm, the Washington Examiner is a conservative rag on par with Faux News. Nice try though. And of course you don’t link to the actual source articles.
Since you asked so nicely, here are the Washington Examiner and Newsweek links:

    https://www.newsweek.com/dnc-randi-weingarten-resigns-quits-democratic-national-committee-leadership-2085875

    You are welcome.
Thanks. I’ll be sure to rot my brain by reading them.

I presume you don't mistrust CNN as well, so here is their headline and related story link for your edification. Please enjoy.
Wow! Mind blowing to read about generational change and the dem party being more inclusive and finding a way to reach out to the youth. WOW!

I’m sure it’s convinced you to switch allegiances.

I suppose I'm a simpleton, but I still can't even really figure out wtf Biden did that was so bad, or why so many Americans think their country was falling apart.... As far as I can tell, the only really serious problem the American people had - before Trump started blowing everything up - was all the rich people hoarding all the money at the expense of everyone else, which is still the case. Now things are a LOT worse than that
A few key items are the economy. 2019-early 2020 was some of the best economy we had in 20 years. Then it tanked. Inflation and grocery prices skyrocketed.
You can argue that’s beyond Biden, a result of the pandemic. And I wouldn’t disagree. But a lot of people didn’t like the early response to inflation.
The excessive shut downs in many cases. None of that was on Biden either, but his general support of, or lack of disapproval, fired up a lot of people.
And especially the last year or more, obvious signs of decline that were ignored. The WH gas lighting and calling videos fakes that were clearly real. In the months since, several staffers have admitted to this problem.
Im not saying you should have voted for Trump and he is a clear-minded genius, but those were the biggest issues working against him coming up to the election.
Just to be clear, you pointed out two issues Covid and the response, neither of which occurred on Biden's watch, as you accurately point out.  So PJ's question is still open.  What did Biden do that was so bad?

The reality is that the exit from Afghanistan was the trigger issue that cost him confidence.  That was when the approval rating dropped and never recovered.

    I somewhat agree.
I think high inflation was almost unavoidable after Covid. But I think Biden initially had a weak response and that hurt him. For several months he stated it was just temporary while the economy bounces back. Then he claimed multiple times it was at 9% when he took office. Although I never blamed Biden for the inflation, I think those responses hurt him when it came to economy polls.
    Yes Afghanistan exit hurt him.

But I still think the biggest one was his signs of decline. You got called maga and drinking the kool aide here if you even questioned it. They tried to deny it and sweep it under the rug, but couldn’t deny it after the debate. That chain of events lead Trump to the win. If Biden was the same as he was 4 or 5 years ago, or if he never ran a second term and whoever replaced him went through a proper election, I don’t think Trump is in the WH today.

I don't know if I would criticize this.  Do I expect the minority leader to read every single bill that every single Democrat puts forward, full well knowing it won't get a hearing even in committee?  I don't know that's the best use of his time.

Fine if he doesn't read it. Super weird that he has zero position to at least speak on it. He couldn't at least get an abstract of it from a staffer because it deals with pushback to the biggest policy story affecting America right now? Even if it goes nowhere, at least try a bit.

what does impeachment do when you don't have the senate? zero. it only makes the dems look desperate. I don't agree with AOC's strategy here.

I don't think she's wrong...in her position she needs to do what she thinks is a proper response. Her response is proper whether it has a chance of getting anywhere or not.

inaction is complicity in this situation.

inaction is a dereliction of duty.

I tend to agree. Yeah, he's not getting removed, but make the Senate say so.

    agreed.

grind the whole thing to a halt and make the senate go on record.

The articles wouldn’t even reach the floor. There’s a reason Republicans never even tried when they had the House the last two years. Performances don’t move the needle. I think it actually exacerbates the lack of power.

Think about all of the people in this country who are sworn to uphold and defend the constitution, and then think about what percentage actually do that.  Shake my fucking head.
