Why would you assume they don't have low numbers?on2legs said:
It would hold true to the ten clubs longtime practice of distributing tickets by seniority. And it would filter out the GA hooligans.tylermoore said:

New members still have the same opportunity to win tickets as the rest of the club. If they want to be snobbish about having seats further away than 30 year members then maybe try the public sale.danofun said:

You think that would cause less problems……that sounds like a shit show waiting to happen. Just giving GA to the oldest members is super wack in my opinion. Everyone should be entitled to have a shot at the pit.on2legs said:Isn’t Ten Club seating supposed to be by seniority? Maybe if the ten club gave the pit to the most senior members who won tickets to each show, unless they opted out, we would have less problems. It’s kind of unfair to make people who have been in the club from the beginning compete for the closest tickets with people who joined the club the day before the cutoff.0 -
What I read and believe is the Ten Club's own posts telling people to cut the shitdanofun said:
This is really simple, give up GA and all the best seats in the house become premium. GA allows for a much larger group of 10C members to experience the best spots in the house. Don't let a few bad seeds upset the apple cart. Plus, dont believe everything you read. There are always going to be trolling complainers on an internet forum. By and large, GA is a phenomenal experience and it would be a HUGE mistake to wish it away.D-Rod said:Maybe it’s time to go back to assigned seating in the pit. Between this and all the issues with same people on rail it might be time to retire the current GA.Personally I’ve had GA 8 times and it’s been an amazing experience every time, but all good things will eventually come to an end.0 -
I point out yet again that these posts always acknowledge bad apples as if there should be any bad apples in a line of people waiting to enter a concert0

Unfortunately, the people up the hill were just following and had no clue the people in front had cut the line.
I was back right where the line bent to go up the hill and saw it all happen. I guess they should have put more barriers in place to crowd control since people can't do it themselves.1998: Noblesville, IN 08-172000: Noblesville, IN 08-182003: Noblesville, IN 06-222006: Cincinnati, OH 06-242010: Noblesville, IN 05-072016: Lexington, KY 04-26, Wrigley Field 2 08-222018: Wrigley Field 1 08-18, Wrigley Field 2 08-202022: St. Louis, MO 09-182024: Noblesville, IN 08-26, Wrigley Field 1 08-29, Wrigley Field 2 08-31

The GA line is configured differently this time. More barriers make it harder for people to cut through.BSully said:

I worry about aspects of ticketing blowing up as a result of (a) one of these incidents between attendees escalating or (b) an incident that stems from people camping out on a city street being targeted. I kinda hope they rethink things before something happens but imagine they'd have to if it's after.on2legs said:Maybe just go to random wristbands before someone gets hurt.0 -
Yeah… it just seems like there is so much tension in these lines. It would definitely be wise for the ten club to get ahead of this before something happens.pjl44 said:

Question for anyoneWould you be willing to be a volunteer “watcher” of the merch lines when they come to your town? Maybe help advice the locals who will work it how to set things up to keep the asses in line (physically and mentally)No reason to watch outside during the concert because there’s barely anyone in line so you wouldn’t miss anything0

There are very few things I’d want to do less than spend several hours on a nice day watching people buy tshirts and chachkies like some weird narc.cblock4life said:Question for anyoneWould you be willing to be a volunteer “watcher” of the merch lines when they come to your town? This seems like another recipe for trouble. This is the job of whatever security is being used by whomever is in charge of the merch table. If they're not being vigilant then it is what it is.cblock4life said:Question for anyoneWould you be willing to be a volunteer “watcher” of the merch lines when they come to your town? Best of your ‘block’ - good old days! Or was that lining up outside the local department store’s ticket center? Or was it calling on the phone with Mom’s credit card in March 94?! If they come to St.Louis this fall I’ll come hang in GA back by the soundboard with you all!
