We have encountered nothing but cool PJ people here in Pittsburgh...but we also haven't been lined up for anything or tried to stake out space in GA, etc. Been easy for them not to disappoint us.___________________________________________

This is really simple, give up GA and all the best seats in the house become premium. GA allows for a much larger group of 10C members to experience the best spots in the house. Don't let a few bad seeds upset the apple cart. Plus, dont believe everything you read. There are always going to be trolling complainers on an internet forum. By and large, GA is a phenomenal experience and it would be a HUGE mistake to wish it away.D-Rod said:Maybe it’s time to go back to assigned seating in the pit. Isn’t Ten Club seating supposed to be by seniority? Maybe if the ten club gave the pit to the most senior members who won tickets to each show, unless they opted out, we would have less problems. It’s kind of unfair to make people who have been in the club from the beginning compete for the closest tickets with people who joined the club the day before the cutoff.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20

You think that would cause less problems……that sounds like a shit show waiting to happen. Just giving GA to the oldest members is super wack in my opinion. Everyone should be entitled to have a shot at the pit.on2legs said:Isn’t Ten Club seating supposed to be by seniority? This is so true. If GA goes away, those seats WILL NOT go to 10c, but will become PJ Premium at $1000 per. Let's not trade one issue for an even bigger one.danofun said:

A lot of people who are in the pit every show likely are using multiple memberships. It’s the troublemakers within the traveling circus from show to show that cause the problem. Return to a true system of issuing tickets by seniority and you would cut those troublemakers out of the loop.tylermoore said:

New members still have the same opportunity to win tickets as the rest of the club. If they want to be snobbish about having seats further away than 30 year members then maybe try the public sale.danofun said:

Why not? That is a false argument, and while may in fact happen it is most definitely not guaranteed. The same amount of GA spots could be negotiated in exchange for the first say 15 rows. Go back to rows 1,2 and 9,10 being lotto and all the others by seniority. They have done this before, and it would be a nice change. I've done GA multiple times and I also won front row back in the day. The crowd is just as excited for both, but the front row seat is a winner all day everyday IMO.Howdidthishappen said:

It would hold true to the ten clubs longtime practice of distributing tickets by seniority. And it would filter out the GA hooligans.tylermoore said:

I'm coming around to your way of thinking. If people are joining the club merely for the opportunity of GA tickets something is out of whack. We all join for different reasons, but that was not even a consideration both times I joined in '98 and again in '08.on2legs said:

I signed up for the newsletter and the OPPPORTUNITY to be able to get better than average seats at 1 show for my all-time favorite band. I know times change but the quest for GA has diluted the club.
How many new members would fly into a random city and book hotel stays without knowing where they were sitting??
I know many of us know and understand this and did it just for the OPPORTUNITY. Times change blah, blah, blah.

I know times change but the quest for GA has diluted the club.👍🏻I’m not sure what the right answer is to solve it. Maybe there is no perfect solution. But GA really screwed people in the club from the early years. I only joined in 1997 so I don’t consider myself in that group. Those early members were supposed to have the best tickets available to the club. And GA pushes everyone’s tickets further back. So if they’re going to have a pit they should at least put the people there from the early days in it.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -
Y’all are silly to think that’s a reasonable strategy/smart for them to implement. I’m sorry but that’s just so far for the solution. If you think the entitlement for GA/Rail from certain groups is high now …that would by far make it worse. The “I’ve been a fan for this long so I deserve to stand here” crowd is already bad enough at times0
