    I cooked mine yesterday...delicious, as usual....love how the whole house gets the aroma.
    If I had known then what I know now...

    I've never liked the cabbage. The corned beef has always been delicious though.

    Same here. Cooked cabbage fuckin stinks. If I can't get it past my nose, it ain't going in my mouth (that's what she said).

    I will be cooking corned beef and cabbage tomorrow, in the slow cooker. A BIG DAY!

    Did a sandwich today. Added grilled onions and tomatoes. Whole grain mustard and only had American cheese. Darn good.
    Used same pan to cook up some diced potatoes. Added a little water to deglaze the pan. Will demolish some tomorrow. No cabbage this time.

    I was at the store this morning and I passed on the Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. Passed on the sauerkraut too. But I did invest in a good polish rye and some mustard.

    My wife loves the stuff.   I love her.  But corned beef and cabbage?  I'd rather chew on a stick and some pine needles. :lol:
