    The firm reported that U.S. employers announced 172,017 layoffs for the month, up 245% from January and the highest monthly count since July 2020 during the heightened uncertainty from the Covid pandemic. In addition, it marked the highest total for the month of February since 2009 during the global financial crisis.

    The problem here is that MAGA voters are so deep into the lies and deception, that no matter how badly the felon screws things up (which is, after all, one of his top priorities), most will never be able, or allow themselves, to admit they royally f'd up voting for a conman/crook/criminal as their dictator.  Many MAGA voters (and sadly as well, many defenders of Democracy) will suffer as a result of their blindly following this path to collapse, but they will continue to blame democrats.  It's a classic case of going down the rabbit hole of a lie so deep, one cannot find their way back out after it's too late.  They will be the first to whine and cry but will never see that they dug their own hole.  It's incredibly stupid and pathetic. I have no empathy or sympathy for these people.
    You are right, they are irredeemable.  But there are plenty of soft voters for Trump, like there were for Obama, Biden, etc.

    We always hear that "the United States is not ready for a female president," but Secretary Clinton won the 2016 election popular vote by approximately 2.87 million votes. Does that not indicate that we, as a country, are ready?
