    I posted this on another thread, but think it's probably more appropriate here or one of the other POTUS threads. These are things that I feel have been made apparent over the past 8 years, that I don't see as adequately factored into the Democrat strategy.

    1. The voting populace will vote for immediate change, not long term change. 
    2. Character is not even close to a top issue
    3. The truthfulness of a claim is not considered by supporters
    4. The voting populace is deaf to criticism by non-supporters (and excuse criticism by claiming that someone is a non-supporter)
    5. There's a belief that a nation only has so much power and government energy to exert. Ergo, any power or energy spent on someone else's cohort, is seen as less attention provided to a voter
    6. If given permission to suppress critical thought, by someone seen as powerful, a voter will gladly take that opportunity.

    I don’t know. A lot of the thing about dems calling Trump Hitler wasn’t said by all of them. Obama for example. This just shows how repeat something enough and it gets attached to the left. The right can obsess about transgender people so when the left responds, now somehow it’s turned into the main platform issue of the party. 

    Wait until there’s talk of impeachment and the same media will say they’re over-reacting and need to cooperate.

    I honestly don't know what the answer is either. People just seem so desensitized to trump's bullshit, right from the fascist playbook, everyone is just trying to stop their heads spinning long enough to figure out if it's bluster or to sound the alarm. Everyone thought in 2016 "the system is infallible". Well, clearly, it's a fucking house of cards. But what do you do now? Try to keep the house stable by trying to keep up with him burning card after card, or let him burn it down and try to rebuild?
