    I live in the US and our leadership is a total embarrassment.  I mean, great job getting Canada and Mexico to promise to do what they are fundamentally doing already.  Sure, he could have just had a normal person negotiation, but why do that when you can sink the market for a day?

    first, I'd like to see the polling that person is referencing. Second, it's nearly impossible to have good messaging all the while fighting mis and disinformation at the same time. establishment dems are not the problem-it's the media who cater to the lowest common denominator instead of actual fact, and the general public who don't think critically.

    Whether you argue it's real or not, the perception that dems were pushing pretty fringe things, in addition to the immigration issue, seemed to be large reasons they lost.  Though I haven't looked at the data so this is just my opinion I suppose.
