Will preface this with I do respect the multitude of men and woman who do this work with distinction.  That said, I  figure this will be an abuse heavy thread. I will try to also offer comments/links/stories of cops who live the usual "protect and serve".  


 What I cannot or will not respect or defend is L E. who engage in extra-judicial action.

Like described here.... yes this describes so called corrections officers but they are L.E. in my book.

    The off-duty sheriff from the Idaho video is collecting $150,820 a year in disability benefits from the LS County Employees Retirement Association.  Yet he attempted to grab Dr. Borrenpohl from her seat.

    Seems like the sheriff needs a medical reassessment to see if he still needs that $150,000 yearly disability check.

    FYI - that disability check is $12,568 monthly.

    I receive disability - I get about that much per year.

    - Made headlines for unauthorized removal of library books he deemed inappropriate
    - Faces a $500,000 defamation lawsuit from a local photographer.

    NEW: One Community Response Team officer swerved into a motorcyclist, killing him. Another needlessly stopped a pedestrian, then shoved him into a car window. A third hit a man and then kicked his head.
