Take it with a grain of salt, but he is not off the mark. Who knows, maybe Trump promised to fund his space program. But that would be a smart move on Elon's part. It might simply be the lesser of two evils.

That is what we can learn from him. Regardless of agreement with his politics. An NYC landlord (maybe a slumlord that gamed the system) becomes president. Surely there is something to be learned about how that happened and why it may happen again. For better or worse. It is a case study.

There is so much going on that average people like me cannot pretend to have access, understand or comprehend. I am no conspiracy theorist, but it is kind of like wall street, you are either in or out. If you are out, you are just blowing smoke. So I guess that makes me a smoke blower.

    he is not a smart man. He didn't intentionally tap into anything. His shitty personality happened to resonate with a very angry, growing, subset of the country, and the rest will always vote R no matter what.

    Or buy it to sell vehicles, rockets, and space trips. Elections have always been bought through advertising onslaughts, handshake deals and lobbying. That is not innovative in any way. Elon may be a bit nuts but his insights should be taken with a grain of salt and not ignored.

    Up 896.21% in the past 5 years. I will take that return over the S&P. I am not saying he is right or wrong, just that he should be listened to and digested with all the other information out there.
    if trump's political career should have taught us anything, it's that "successful businessmen" should not be listened to by default. 

    Not necessarily followed but listened to. Take it all in and make your own choices about what is right, wrong or innovative. And I am not a Trump fan, but he knows how to work the system. That is what we can learn from him. Regardless of agreement with his politics. An NYC landlord (maybe a slumlord that gamed the system) becomes president. Surely there is something to be learned about how that happened and why it may happen again. For better or worse. It is a case study.
