I'm still not a fan.  Like I mentioned before I do enjoy talking about it.  I have never seen a league mishandle someones superstardom more than the WNBA has.

They should have sent her to the Olympics just to grow the sport more but, they failed...

If she isn't better or worse than the ones you've mentioned then why is she breaking records as a Rookie?

I agree w Cutz where u will see better and better players in the future and it will be because they watched CC.

Or maybe because CC watched the other players I've mentioned. She didn't need to be on the Olympic roster. If anything it was probably good for her. She barely had a break with the college games then going straight to the WNBA. She will be on future rosters

Read a VERY interesting article in the Washington post by Ben Strauss.  "A reporter keeps asking about CC. Players want her banned."

Very good read on what is going on in the WNBA. So reporter Brennan, a white female, goes around asking other players about CC.  It makes it out that it is ALL she asks about.  The players are getting peeved and feel they are being baited.  They want her credentials pulled.

I get it.

Another angle showing that the WNBA is squandering their opportunities to make the league bigger than what it is and say maybe they aren't ready for the attention it is receiving.

I think all the ladies need to take PR courses because these types of questions aren't going anywhere.  The league is growing, fan base is growing.  This kind of reminds me of when Tiger Woods was on top.  He would lose a tourney and still be front page news like "Tiger places third in TPC" and no mention of whom came in 1st.

Hopefully the world takes notice of the other players or is it that there is a person that other people can identify with in Clark?  Is it deeper than that or simpler?

I don't believe they want her banned.  The WNBA has been about inclusivity and such. Obviously they want to grow the game. 

The WNBA has literally asked for her removal, lol.

I did say "players".

It an interesting read if you can get past the pay wall.  It touched on what you had brought up on the racist remarks.  One was "did you trip on your eyelashes" and "ban nails". Not sure how those are racist rather than bullying?
