She did transform the game like Steph Curry did for the NBA.
So I agree with you but emphasize it more to align with Tempos assessment.
We'll be seeing more woman/girls shooting like her with the way Curry has with more men/boys shooting. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

lol still no credit given to her...igotid88 said:
Or maybe because CC watched the other players I've mentioned. She didn't need to be on the Olympic roster. If anything it was probably good for her. She barely had a break with the college games then going straight to the WNBA. She will be on future rosterstempo_n_groove said:
I'm still not a fan. Like I mentioned before I do enjoy talking about it. I have never seen a league mishandle someones superstardom more than the WNBA has.igotid88 said:
No one knew about her until that "You can't see me game". And by no one. I mean these new "fans". Not saying she isn't helping the game grow. And it's not even that I'm against her. It's those "fans". Who crapped on the W. And are now saying the game is better because of her. I do think she gets unfairly criticized. My point was she is not better or worse than the others I've mentioned. Also if Steph doesn't win championships he wouldn't have the same impact. Hopefully she doesn't win this year because I want my Liberty to win. Only original team to not win.cutz said:Clark is the ALL -TIME Scorer in College history. They should have sent her to the Olympics just to grow the sport more but, they failed...
If she isn't better or worse than the ones you've mentioned then why is she breaking records as a Rookie?
I agree w Cutz where u will see better and better players in the future and it will be because they watched CC.0

So i watched the highlights. Switched back and forth for some of the games. Collier couldn't miss. CC needs help. NY looks good. Bye Diana. She will be on the Mt Rushmore of WNBA for a long time.0

I know this is a Liberty Thread, you want to start a new one for all of the WNBA? Or just leave it here?
Liberty w a win the other day to go up 2-0.
Read a VERY interesting article in the Washington post by Ben Strauss. "A reporter keeps asking about CC. Players want her banned."
Very good read on what is going on in the WNBA. So reporter Brennan, a white female, goes around asking other players about CC. It makes it out that it is ALL she asks about. The players are getting peeved and feel they are being baited. They want her credentials pulled.
 I get it.
Another angle showing that the WNBA is squandering their opportunities to make the league bigger than what it is and say maybe they aren't ready for the attention it is receiving.
I think all the ladies need to take PR courses because these types of questions aren't going anywhere. The league is growing, fan base is growing. This kind of reminds me of when Tiger Woods was on top. He would lose a tourney and still be front page news like "Tiger places third in TPC" and no mention of whom came in 1st.
Hopefully the world takes notice of the other players or is it that there is a person that other people can identify with in Clark? Is it deeper than that or simpler?0

I don't believe they want her banned. The WNBA has been about inclusivity and such. Obviously they want to grow the game.tempo_n_groove said:I know this is a Liberty Thread, you want to start a new one for all of the WNBA? Or just leave it here?

It an interesting read if you can get past the pay wall. It touched on what you had brought up on the racist remarks. One was "did you trip on your eyelashes" and "ban nails". Not sure how those are racist rather than bullying?0

The NFL has many people who are credentialed in the modern press makeup who should also be banned. Harassing the players is not the same thing as asking tough questions or building am unpopular story.
Asking about the most popular players is fine, but if that is your angle on everything and you are trying to stir shit up all of the time, that is not needed.
Hardly a shock given the clickbait trash that many media outlets have become.
Si.com is some of the worst bullshit going right now.
