I don't necessarily disagree with that label. As sick as this might be I wonder if today's death toll will be higher since a walkie-talkie is more likely to be held close to the head. But it might also be more likely that the intended targets were hit.

To reiterate, Israel has some very serious questions to answer about their response to the barbarity of October 7, when there had been a ceasefire in place.
As noted a couple days ago, if Israel is responsible for the pager and walkie-talkie attack, then that should be considered some sort of war crime, or maybe even terrorism as someone else suggested here.
