Look, I think it's possible that it is the setlist and it's a one-off. They had plenty of time to prep this one show, it's sort of an outlier being a Jeff show and I also think it's possible that even if this was the intended setlist two months ago when they needed it for the lead time on this shirts, that the band changes it up on the night of.

That said, yes, knowing the set ahead of time will take some of the mystique away from the shows, but c'est la vie. For me, the experience at a PJ show is the closest that I will come to a religious experience. I've seen them play on the night that Clinton testified about Monica (ironically also at Deer Creek). I saw them play Sonic Reducer with Cheetah Chrome...those are the moments that stand out. No matter what, I'm going to be in the pit on Monday rocking my balls off with the greatest band in all the land with my second family.

Hmmmm… if we are going to possibly know what the set list is going to be for this leg of the tour before the show, that could have its advantages. You could make a beer, bathroom break, or get some merchandise during the songs you might have heard many times over the years or songs you don’t care for. I’d still take the excitement of not knowing the set list over it but, hey… there’s always a silver lining!
I never get why people need a break during a 2hr show, surely you can hold a bathroom break, or get merch before.  I mean you may see Pearl Jam for a couple hrs every couple years, I wouldnt want to limit an already limited time.  Each to their own I guess.
    The answer is beer
Fair enough. I don’t drink at Pearl jam shows because I don’t want to miss a second to queue for the bathroom or another pint. I save beer for the pub with mates. But again, each to their own.

Tsurt can't really lose, if they play the exact same setlist as per the shirt then he cant control what the band plays and will say 'oh what a cooinsedence'.

I like the shirt whether it's accurate or not. Honestly who cares? Does it cause one stress to walk around knowing a few songs were added/omitted? Unless you run into a rabid Evenbro who is walking behind you it will NEVER come up in conversation.

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

    Here's how I see it:
    1. The setlist shirt posting was an oversight and it's too late to take down.
    2. Whomever posted it didn't think we'd notice or have the image resolution to make out the setlist.
    3. The poster wasn't too worried about us finding out if we wanted to dig into it.

Either way, if someone wants to see the setlist ahead of time, they can -  but they can also fairly easily avoid it.

I dunno man PJ fans can be pretty odd, usually the first 2 questions asked by PJ fans are how many shows have you been to and what is your 10c number, odd things to ask strangers. I wouldnt put it past at all someone going up to me and saying 'HEY DID YOU SEE THE SETLIST ON THE SHIRT, I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE GONNA PLAY SMILE''.

Whilst I am certain that it’s not a mix of setlists from prior Missoula shows as Tsurt claims, I do have my doubts that it’s the actual setlist that’ll be used tonight.

My hunch is that they know they plan to do setlist shirts for Wrigley and Fenway, and didn’t want Missoula to be different (lost revenue) so Tsurt asked Ed for let’s say a first draft or something that looks authentic so that they could have something to print on the back of the shirt and likely start a bit of chatter amongst the fans... of course Tsurt knows that Ed and the band are totally free to do whatever they want with that draft setlist - use it, bin it, so the mystery will remain until the show actually gets played.

I always think those 2 questions are so odd to ask straight away on meeting a fan

I love how lucky we are as fans that a (possible) setlist leaked a couple days before a show and it causes this kind of uproar. Not many major bands change it up like Pearl Jam so the odd thing here and there throughout a career isn't a big deal to me (although I'm not going to the show so may feel different if I was there).

If it isn't the setlist, then I agree its an odd shirt choice like "oh hey, nice shirt, how was DOC live?", "oh, they didnt play it at the show, its just on the setlist tshirt".....

For what its worth, I think this was the real setlist intended for the show but wouldnt be totally surprised to see something different now, even an intended setlist can change throughout the night anyway

If they really want to troll the fans, they should have Stone wear the shirt and have Ed check his back regularly to see if they are still on script.

Real setlist or not this is really dumb. A setlist shirt with a fake set that wasn’t played is totally unappealing. And if this is the setlist…well…that’s one of the worst moves PJ could make.

This seems to be the consensus.  A lose-lose scenario.  Not sure what the actual plan is/was for this "setlist shirt".

I have to say that I'm 30 shows in and don't care if I know the setlist ahead or not. I want to see as many DM songs as possible and just watch one of the greatest rock bands ever.

Fair doos. Hard to gauge but feel like this is contrary to opinion to most people on here.
