Yesterday was a literal disaster. She just added a communist talking point to her empty platform. Price control on an industry that profits are 1.6%. Not Apple whose profits are north of 20%.Nixon tried this in the 70s. He froze wages and prices for 90 days. It worked short term, inflation slowed. He eased those restrictions, inflation returned. Nixon imposed stricter regulations, this time it failed leading to the greatest inflation of all time. Out of control until Reagan was able to curb it.
We are heading down that road again. Kamala’s plan would push us over the edge. The solution is stop printing money and artificially
trying to manipulate things. Lower energy costs and cost of doing business. More production of goods is paramount to slowing or stopping inflation. Not government handout programs or price controls.Post edited by Tim Simmons on0 -
he keeps bringing up how small the margins are for grocety stores.bad faith argument. the price control thing targets the manufacturers. reducing the wholesale cost, thereby reducing the retail cost. guess what happens then? grocery stores still make a 1.6% margin. yes by extension profit is reduced but so fucking what. they still make profit margin._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

Kamala HarrisI say let in more migrants, have a federal judge lift work restrictions and allow them to work for these food manufacturers/farms/warehouses, increasing the supply.0

Just like they did with Biden’s mental decline. Once CNN decide to label it a “crises” and it became a voting issue did Biden/Harris try to do anything to stem it. It’s too late.Harris failed in her post as “Border Czar” miserably. You can blame Trump for killing the border bill…. Yet 6 Democrats voted against it and it never had enough support to pass.0

Kamala HarrisNah, let the illegals in too. They’re hungry for the American dream. If we truly are the greatest country ever, we can fold them in and we’ll be a better and stronger country because of it. .Post edited by Tim Simmons on0

BTW, no one prints fucking money. That's not what the fed does. Go look up "quantitative easing" if you want to understand money supply.0 -

Paul Volcker tamed inflation, not Reagan. The funny thing is that, in November 1984-- when Reagan was reelected in a landslide because it was "Morning in America"-- unemployment was at 7.2 percent and inflation was over 4 percent, whereas unemployment is currently at 4.3 percent and inflation is at 2.9 percent. Thanks, Joe and Kamala!I gather speed from you fucking with me.0 -

KH is consistently losing NV and GA looks like it will be tough. If she loses those two (assuming she doesn’t flip NC) she must take both PA and MI.
and MI has a strong pro Palestinian population, which polling may not be picking up. Hopefully trump scares them more. But these polls look worse than 2020 when Biden barely won.
