Those freezer trucks that were parked outside the hospital I was working for during Covid were a sad reminder of what was happening every day! I’d say we’re better off today.

I like how you think that matters in the least.  The virus didn't care who was president.  You know,  the one that's going to be gone in a week,  there are only 15 cases,  no worse than the flu.

    Today isn't 2021.

I’m not trying to say Biden didn’t do or did better than Mango Mussolini in handling the pandemic!  Merely stating we are better off today than seeing all those deaths

The question was, "are you better off today than in 2020?"  And since Jose works in health and saw that, it's pretty easy for someone like him to say 2024 is way fucking better than 2020.

However, Harris — who was tasked with stopping the historically high flow of migrants across the US border — never backtracked or apologized for her previous statements.
    She wasn’t though.

Harris was never the “border czar,” or put in charge of border security or halting illegal border crossings, as former President Donald Trump, Republicans and even the occasional media outlet have claimed. Instead, she was tasked in March 2021 with tackling the “root causes” of migration from the Northern Triangle and pushing its leaders — along with Mexico’s — to enforce immigration laws, administration officials said.

you want to ding her for taking the long view, fine. If making the wrong statement based on available information at the time and holding that against her forever, fine.  But the problem with a lot of the taking point attacks is that nuance gets lost in the sound bite.
So what has she done with tackling the "root causes"? She went to a meeting in Guatemala. She famously said "Don't come".  Anything else? How about all those coming in from non Northern Triangle countries.  Plenty of military-age Chinese men have been marching across the border.
What is it exactly that Pence did while VP other than stand next to trump?

In all fairness, Jose came back on these boards and owned what he did and said he overreacted. Let’s not get too personal.  It’s between him and his family.

Your soapbox seems a little high, step down comrade. You purposely misspell names to denigrate people plenty on here. You keep fighting the disingenuous fight though of pretending to care about conservative values.

My man is complaining about inflation, while at the same time saying he would have preferred a depression.

Reading comprehension is your friend. I asked if Trump didn’t give out the stimulus checks would a Depression been better to someone blaming that on the start of inflation. Unreal

What's your excuse? Trashing another poster over a personal matter they brought up in another thread is super classy. I'm sure this thread is headed to lock down unless you want to edit that terrible response.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Those freezer trucks that were parked outside the hospital I was working for during Covid were a sad reminder of what was happening every day! I’d say we’re better off today.

Sorry to burst your bubble Corky
I like how you think that matters in the least.  The virus didn't care who was president.  You know,  the one that's going to be gone in a week,  there are only 15 cases,  no worse than the flu.

    Today isn't 2021.

Doesn’t matter to me. It matters to Jose. He’s quoted something about refridegerated trucks 16 times at least.
Yes it does matter to me not seeing all the deaths! I’m better off today

You can’t even handle talking to your family. You need therapy. People are worse for you being around them. Then the best comeback is to name call. Congrats, you win the Internet today! Unreal
One last thing on my squabble with my family! I wrote a sincere letter of apology to all my family stating that I’m the one that should be embarrassed on my behavior that I’m the one they should be disappointed in! I admitted to them I was wrong in my behavior I don’t mind accepting my faults I feel better for it.
so now let’s get back to topic of why KH is a better choice for this country besides the fact she’s just a better human being oh and sorry if I got under your skin by my name calling you!

In case you haven’t noticed Pearl Jam doesn’t tolerate the level of nasty you bring.  I can tell you’re older.  I catch some of the stuff you say that others don’t.  Pearl Jam owns this space, they can do as they wish.
