    For those struggling with who to vote for, saw this post on facebook:

    I'm not gonna lie, watching the online discourse regarding the US election almost has be wanting to shut down my page.

    Here's the thing... I'm not American. I don't want to step foot in that country anymore. It's a fascist nation that's the single largest driving force behind capitalism ruining this planet.

    Both big politicical parties there are pro corporate, both are pro colonialist, both support active genocides. 

    Neither will save the US from itself.

    But I don't think US citizens understand the power dynamics at play in their own country.

    You're trapped in a 2 party system because mathematically, your electoral system will always strongly trend towards a 2 party system. The Electoral College, much like First Past the Post, is a winner-takes-all Plurality voting system... these systems are destined to entrench existing concentrations of power.

    I'm a far left anarchist. I don't think any of the Democratic party candidates are left leaning. They're not. They've all supported some horrible shit. Many of them are responsible for a whole lot of death.

    But here's the thing... if you're in the US, you're currently stuck in a trolley problem.

    You can try to convince yourself that both parties are equally bad... but the reality is, while they're both bad, one is far, far worse.

    All of the human rights protections the Republicans are trying to roll back... members of the other party wrote most of those. 

    Both sides are bad. One of those sides is celebrated by neonazis, the other is hated by them.

    The Democrats, as bad as they are, aren't courting neonazis.

    The US election also has effects across the globe. If a Republican government successfully rolls out the plans outlined in Project 2025, not only is it going to result in genocide on US soil, it's also going to result in them using the full force of the military industrial complex against anyone who disagrees with them.

    Like, this is what's at stake.

    Criticize the democrats all you want... they fucking deserve it... but if I was in the US I'd be voting Democrat WHILE cursing about how shit they are because, quite frankly, I don't want to see another world war, and I don't think the marginalized people in the US deserve to be the victims of an all out genocide on US soil.

    I'd vote that way, vomit in a trash can on the way out, and then I'd go right back to advocating for anticapitalism, antiracism, decolonization, disability rights, radical queer rights, anti-patriarchy, and anarchosocialism.

    I don't want nazis getting any more power than they already have, and neither should anyone else. I will use the means I have available to prevent it. For me, voting is part of that.

    If you're an American and you wanna vote 3rd party, or you don't wanna vote, that's fine... just please stop telling leftists they're bad leftists for trying to keep the candidate and party that is demonstrably far worse out of power.

    Call me a bad leftist if you like. I refuse to remain inactive in these kinds of bad vs worse trolley problems.

    Not that any of this is a goddamned competition. Service is service and the only one TFG serves is HIMSELF.

    Yes, I saw the debate, and talked about how terribly Biden did. That doesn’t mean Trump was coherent, knowledgeable, or rigorously on-message at that debate. Harris is sharp, informed, and clear enough to demonstrate that Trump is a washed-out, self-serving moron.

    As for the Pelosi and Clooney ‘jab’, I don’t really care if strings were pulled and a better candidate was selected, or if it was Biden’s decision. Either way, Democrats are more poised to win now, and your side is the one with an old and incompetent candidate. Have fun with that!

    Why did Donald Trump kill the bipartisan, most conservative in decades, border bill? Easy retort...even you cannot answer it (as I have given you multiple attempts by this point).

    Of course he can and be thanked for his service. Issue is he used a rank he would have received if he had stayed until full retirement. Many say he dodged the deployment to Iraq. He didn’t have bone spurs to my knowledge.

    This may help. There are images of the documents on multiple posts. Seems like any attempts at swift-boating him will not succeed.

    I received a partial follow up on the NGB22. After the NGB22 was issued, he was “Administratively” reduced for not completing the required educational requirements. 
    So he did hold the rank of CSM, but was subsequently reduced for this reason and receives retired pay for the rank of MSG. There were no disciplinary reasons for the reduction. 
    According to the PAO for the Minnesota National Guard, they said it is legitimate for Walz to say he served as a CSM. They said the rank changed because Walz retired before completing coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy along with other requirements associated with his promotion.
    As far as deployments, I am awaiting more records but it doesn’t seem he deployed to a combat zone during his service. Will follow up when I have more information.

    He just decided to retire before deployment. Could have been coincidence? You would think that would have been vetted before he was selected or even when he ran for Governor but apparently not because Dems are really scrambling to justify or cover it up. They also have already changed the title from Kamala’s website about his profile. That tells me he’s probably wrong.
