    Wow, first time through the album and this one is greatness. My expectations for the album in general were obviously too low. Band feels so alive on this track and most others. Props to Watt for a job well done.

    That riff is Soundgarden meets In Hiding meets Breath…just not a fan of the vocal melody but instrumentally it’s great.

    Yes! I hear so much in this one. In Hiding, the opening of The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary, Soundgarden/TOTD. While I don't think it sounds like SOLAT or Breath, I see how it is being likened to them. I just think it is more accurate to liken it to Singles era PJ. Parts/notes of the outro solo have that feel.

    Then other parts of the album are so clearly Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, U2, Hendrix, and then all 11 other PJ albums thrown into a blender. A couple of notes here or there or the inflection of a few words.
    Great way of summing things up. Some people seem to be specifically looking for a song that sounds like Animal or something.
