I'm with you on this. If you've already ordered the ticket, aren't you guaranteed a spot? It's just a matter of picking up your wristband last, right?

exactly! I will not give up hope!

Is this show fan club only? I dont mean the pre-sale, I mean the entire show.

In other words, does 10C have 85-100% of the tickets, or will it only be 10-15%?

    Thanks.

lol thats what they have to tell u

im sure u will get 2 tickets,,but their will be tickets on the st. and the brokers will have em also its the nature of the beast

OK, so say we get to Midway by 3 (carry on only so no luggage to pick up), take the el to the Congress Plaza , check in, shower and catch a cab will we make it in time??

Also, a tenclub member can buy tix and take a non-member, right?? I am one but my husband is not (shame on him) but I really don't want to have to leave him at the door ; )

most shows in Chicago are over by 11 because these venues--Metro, Riv, Vic--are in areas where people live.

I don't know about that. The last few shows I've been to at Schuba's, the Metro, and the Vic have lasted till 12, 1, or later.

I do think you'd be pushing it if you got in any later than 7, though. But it's pointless to speculate until we have an actual show time.

    Totally. No problem.

those were probably weekend shows, right? and schuba's probably doesnt have the same rules since its more of a bar with a back porch than a venue.

Nope, weekday. And Schuba's is in a very residential area, to get back to your original rationale for an 11 pm finishing time.

But the fact that there is no public sale of these means that there is likely a good number of ticekts available for the 10C. In total, there are 700 pairs (ish), so we could have as many as 500 pairs available to us. That may be wishful thinking though...

exactly. of course scalpers will have them, thats not what I was asking. I just wanted to see what our chances are on thursday.

I will desperately be trying to get these tickets.....if I cant and someone needs a place to crash, seeing most out of towners were planning on getting there friday or late thursday....I own a studio only about 10 or 15 minutes walk away from the Vic. Hook me up with your other ticket and I will stock the fridge full of your favorite libation and you can crash on the couch that night.....I know PJ fans are a tight nit bunch and I WONT have to worry about someone stealing my stuff.......Lots of PJ boots for you to listen to all night after the show......I might be able to arrange a free spot to park that night behind the studio as well.......Hopefully I can get tickets and this will all go for not!!!!

It's times like this when I wished I lived in the Windy City! Good luck to all going for tickets... I hope the 10C server holds out on Thursday! It was the worst 4 and a half hours of my life purchasing London tickets back in January!

Hopefully it will be ok as long as theres not loads of people on there buying PJ socks or something! ;)

Why couldn't this have happened when I lived DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE VIC!?!?!?!?!? in 2003/2004????????????????????????????? HUH???? WHY NOT???

ok, I'm sorry. I just had to let that out.

    Wait, I'm not done yet.

FUCK!!!!!!!! It's bad enough that I had to move to NJ a few months before they play Lolla and be too poor to go back for it. But now there's this.

yeah, I know where it is. I said it probably doesnt have the same rules because it holds about 100 people, like a bar, rather than a real "venue."

anyways, if you guys think theyll go on at midnight, go for it.

Oh I am so sad! We'll be there in plenty of time (we land around 3) but my daughter with me, who is 13, would not be able to attend. I don't understand why they had to make it 18 and over..... So close and yet so far! I expect we'll go and see if we can listen from outside, since they are not allowing under 18.
