oh wow, so this event might have a lot of charity/sponsored tickets too...  this might be a harder get than the Earthlings shows.

Ticketmaster did a substantial ticket drop on Feb 14th for the Feb 22/23 shows.

Not sure if TM will hold back tickets this time since it's for charity, but it would be worthwhile checking daily in October.

Unfulfilled for both...and I forgot to register for verified fan. Oops.

Any ideas on how hard it will be to find tickets after all the 10C and verified sales?
who knows?  The earthlings tickets from Feb 2022 originally sold out quick, but so many were held back as platinum tickets, that when they weren't selling they got offloaded closer to the show at discounted prices.   I think some people were having a hard time selling even their face value tickets, because there were rows within 10 rows of the stage that got put up by TM for less than face, so there were still a bunch of fan2fan tickets posted when fan2fan was turned off.

The challenge is we don't know why the demand was low/moderate. Ticket prices were pretty much as expensive for those shows as these ones.   Covid was much more a thing back then.  It was the most Ghost Townish I've ever seen Seattle, so it could of just been because a lot people weren't quite ready to travel because of covid (I had to deal with getting a covid test in the US so I could return to Canada).   Could be because the demand for EV solo or with the Earthlings isn't super big?

i'm hoping it's moderate again so I can get tickets to the first night.   Last time for the first while I think it was only a sprinkling of fan2fan tickets and the platinum tickets, but over time it became pretty clear the platinum tickets weren't moving.

It says they're holding back 10% for platinum. I think that drop was the platinum tickets they intended to sell but weren't moving.   TM doesn't usually put all the platinum tickets up at once.  They trickle them out to make them look more limited, but if they don't move, then they've got a giant wad left at the end (which then get blown out at face or below face value).  It really depends if people bite on the platinum tickets (ahem Eddie Vedder Premium tickets).  That being said it felt like the 2022 shows might have had more than 10% reserved as platinum before that big ticket drop.

Bonaroya is going to be legit, too bad Ed never releases any live recordings from solo shows. I’m sure these will be special

Like some have said, 2022 shows are an odd/unreliable comp due to the pandemic. For us Canadians, we had to do a PCR test which was really annoying. Living in Vancouver (about 2hr drive to Seattle), we often go down around 2pm and drive back after show. As these tests typically had a 24-48 hour turn around, we had to find a LAMP test (where you swab and get results over video chat). I’ll never forget doing the test in a quiet corner of Target store across street from the venue. All to say, much easier to get to Seattle for out-of-towners now.

  • For the past 3 times Eddie or pearl jam came near me we requested tickets, got the verified pre sale codes, and could never get in bad seats, let alone GA... just paying for a membership for 10 years with nothing to show for except a tee every now and then, Ticketmaster is such a scam.

It was so silly.  We got our PCR test done as soon as we crossed the border (did it in bellingham), so if we were going to catch covid on the trip, I'm pretty sure we weren't going to get it in the 20 minutes it takes to get to bellingham.. lol.  That is a bright side though.  Don't have to spend $200 each on PCR tests.

And then it turned out I got Covid from seeing PJ in Oakland a few months later :)

Your point is solid though.  I ran into fellow Canadians at the shows but much less than usual, that does add a whole other market for the shows.

Any new realizations... would have to wait...
Til he had more time,... more time...
Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,
To himself... I'll see you on the other side...
  • Hey, I got my first choice of Tuesday (top price tix), stoked as this will be my first Ed solo show!
  • Some info for those who have never been:

The tiers are all stacked on top of one another, so the orchestra section on the chart is as wide and long as the audience section gets. There's really no bad seat or view.

Also you cannot bring food or drink to your seats to protect the cloth. So get there for a lobby drink early or pre-func prior.
Can confirm!  In 2013 we sat in the last row of the top level and acoustically, it was out of this world. Just closed my eyes and got lost in the show.
I don't want to think, I wanna feel....

Ed solo is second only to PJ in my books and depending on the setlist at times it can be a 1A and 1B situation.  You’re going to love it.

I was unfulfilled but didn’t really have the time to go anyway.
