  • This is lame.....

Right now, you are on the waitlist for the onsale for Eddie Vedder.

If any tickets remain, we may message you to join the onsale. We expect there won’t be enough tickets for everyone who registered. Random selection determined which registered fans received a unique access code or which were put on the waitlist.

Breath is not being held....this was not meant to be...

We were both waitlisted too :(

Verified Fan is such a weird thing.  Sorry you can't even try to participate in the public onsale.

I get why they do it, and it's great when you get picked, but it's sad when you don't.

  • Hi Faithful

I was able to score a single seat for the Monday show.  I’m traveling solo from Massachusetts and never been to the west coast.  Any concerns with crime downtown or traveling the Light Rail back to hotel after the show?

    Thanks!
Benaroya Hall is in the middle of a hot spot on 3rd ave. You will see some wild shit outside the venue. The underground platform for the university station will also be pretty active. Just pay attention and don't be on your phone or use headphones. You'll be fine moving with the crowd after the show. Once the light rail exits the downtown tunnel, it should be a quite ride.
Be careful.  Have your plan in place.  Maybe even practice it.  Google Komo4, King5, Q13 news stories about crime/murder in downtown.  Personally I'd stay away from 3rd & Pine.

My Ed solo show losing streak lives on!  Shutout then wait-listed.

I've been shut out of every Ed show I've ever tried for (other than the one I had great seats for that got cancelled) but it's all good.

    C
ongrats to those on here who are in the building. The daydreams of receiving that "you got tix!" email got me through a long three day stretch of work so entering was absolutely worth it.  If you got tickets this week please celebrate your victory this weekend!

Maybe we'll still find a way to go.  Good shows for a good cause. ✌️

+1 to all this. I've continued my losing streak for Ed solo shows too in the same manner. Will see if I somehow get into the on sale from the wait-list otherwise I'll cancel my travel to Seattle for it. Happy for those that will be there!

Don’t underestimate seeing Ed at Ohana if you can’t get into this one.  That’s an excellent experience.

Well, these comments have tempered my excitement about going to the show. But appreciate them. Any tips on where to stay in Seattle? How to get back to hotel after the show?  (Single woman travelling down from Vancouver, on the train if I can.) thx.

Anyone get VF access to specifically the Tuesday show? I registered for both shows but the email only states Monday. No waitlist or rejection for Tuesday. I assume I won't have access to tickets for Tuesday.

I am not a Seattle local but would just say that I went to the 8.10.18 home show and did not feel the least bit unsafe in the city.  Granted, the area where these EV shows will be might be different, but the city felt totally fine to me and I roamed around quite a bit.  It was 5 years ago.  For sure take advice from locals, not me, but maybe hear from a few locals to get a consensus.

I wouldn’t say it’s any different than what you might see downtown in Vancouver. We live in Vancouver, but have travelled to Seattle and been around the 3rd + pine area twice this summer. Obviously exercise caution (as you would in any big city), but there will be lots of people about going to/from the show. There are hotels and other places that will be open closeby. I wouldn’t let it damper your stoke in the least bit (but I would defer to Seattlites if they feel strongly different).

I was at Benoroya last year for the Earthlings shows, and yah, it didn't feel any sketchier that being in Vancouver.   We usually stay at the Hyatt Olive 8 which is about 8ish blocks away.. but we felt ok Downtown.   It was a little quiet because of the pandemic, but I thought some of the areas we walked through in 2018 walking from Safeco back downtown were sketchier.   I suppose it could of change in 1.5 years.   I know my small city has an ever expanding homeless problem too :(

This feels like another Ticketmaster scam sale... nobody on these boards, or that I know irl got picked for the verified fan. Shame this is where we're at in the concert ticket world, grabbed by the nuts by a company that gives zero fucks about the actual concerts. Guarantee 500 "premium tickets" show up on their site though that get Ticketmaster 8x the fees as profits. Oh wait, no, the premium tickets "offset the low price of the $250/ea face value tickets they're losing money on" ... LOL

Someone posted the other day, that you can buy these packages for tens of thousands or a hundred thousand dollars which include a significant amount of tickets to the shows.  I've got the feeling what they didn't mention was they've blocked off a bunch of tickets for that fundraiser.   I suppose they don't know in advance how many they'll sell that way.  Maybe we'll get lucky with ticket drops a bit later on, but I bet the ones that don't sell, will get allocated to platinum first, and not blown out until the final week if they don't sell at platinum prices.

Not sure if this is entirely on TM. They invented the platinum thing, but bands sure love the extra revenue stream.  I wish they hadn't though.   The new fangled concept that it's better to wait until a show is about to happen to buy tickets, then try to buy them at the beginning messes with my head, and makes planning concert trips frustrating.

Yeah, I know, and I appreciate and respect the charity aspect of it. I don't respect word salad bullshit, though which is what this is:
"Eddie Vedder continues to try to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets by providing presale tickets to Ten Club members, making tickets non-transferable, and by selling approximately 10% of tickets through Eddie Vedder Premium at the market rate to offset increased costs. Tickets on this tour will continue to be non-transferable."

It really rubbed me the wrong way, especially from a band who started the fight against shit like this so long ago, but has just decided "eh, f it" at this point. Robert Smith proved the artists are the only people who can control how crazy TM goes with fees and prices, and at this point anybody who doesn't do that obviously just doesn't care.

Curious to know if anyone on here scored via Verified Fan? I have yet to read of anyone that got a code (as opposed to waitlisted). I've been waitlisted for other events (with way bigger capacities than Benaroya) but have never come off the waitlist.

Not sure how this system helps fans. Organized scalpers can register 100's of accounts for VF, whereas the average fan has one (or two in a household). I miss the old days where everyone got an equal shot. It's painful knowing that tickets are selling, but you're locked out because you didn't win a code.

Please keep in mind that these comments only relate to VF; I am extremely grateful for the 10C system of presale (as it seems to be the only way people on here are getting tickets).
