Just the other day, Ticketmaster took full control of the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. The very first arena in Atlantic Canada taken over by Ticketmaster. For a very long time tickets were sold by Ticket Atlantic.

Soon, Ticketmaster will take more control of more sporting arenas in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, P.E.I. and Newfoundland. Hopefully this means Pearl Jam will come back to Atlantic Canada, in 2024.

Doh! My bad. Since 2018? I didn't know.

I hope they do next year.

yah, and they don't seem to be a band that wants to drastically increase the amount of time they spend on the road.

It's crazy that it's been 10 years since they played Vancouver (or 7 years if you count Pemberton, which I should count, because it was close enough).   Being that Vancouver is the next big closest city to Seattle, I don't think they'd have gone that long without a Vancouver show.. well ever.  What was the last big stretch 93 to 98?

Then you've got far away places like Australia that they used to play frequently, and now it's crickets.

I'm going to guess a modest size NA tour that includes the PNW (Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, and random other city), and maybe south america.

They really seem to like NA,SA, and Europe.

Australia and New Zealand doesn’t really make any commercial sense unless you can play at least 5-6 sold out shows. Such a long way from everywhere you are relying on filling the arenas with locals.

Much easier just to focus on American and European tours, which are guaranteed sell outs for tours generally of 15-16 shows

Why don’t you think they could do well commercially in Aus? They always have, and i believe the demand would be so high they could do the stadium thing, like 2009

Dude! Could you imagine the demand for Red Rocks? That would be an amazing venue to see them at.

Tim has already said no Red Rocks. It's way too small a venue.

IMO, the only way it'd be remotely possible would be to set up a residency AND not assign people to win a second show until after all registrants have won a first show.

They'd also have to do it as part of a large tour (say, one across multiple continents) to try to minimize demand. Someone from England or New Zealand may not be as willing to try for tickets if there's 15 shows close to home announced at the same time.

Hopefully this starts to become a very active topic. Taylor Swift and Coldplay now have Summer 2024 dates out. Apparently Springsteen's Summer European 2024 tour is going to be announced very shortly too.

They couldn't even manage this for a 9 show tour. My fiancé put in for Chicago 1 as her 1st priority and didn't get it. Others got it with at least up to a #5 priority.

I'd like to see them do a proper Asian tour, or something that stretches into the pacific. Even if it is smaller venues, it would be territory the band hasn't ventured too since 1995, or ever for that matter. As far as a North American tour, the south needs some major non festival love. I think they think they're rectifying that with all these Texas shows this year, but why not do a proper tour through the south?

    ASIA/PACIFIC:
    Tokyo x2
    Osaka
    Singapore
    Kuala Lumpur
    Bangkok
    Jakarta
    Sydney x2
    Honululu
    Maui

    NORTH AMERICA/LATIN AMERICA:
    Boston (x2?)
    Washington D.C.
    Atlanta
    Miami
    Orlando
    Houston
    New Orleans
    San Francisco
    Mexico City
    Tijuana
Cancun/Acapulco/Puerto Vallarta (resort-like show in Mexico like "playing in the sand", or like other jam bands have been doing)
