In markets with busy venues, Friday / Saturday / Sunday are actually more expensive to book.

With the demand PJ has, paying additional booking fees for the premium dates is unnecessary.

Venues would actually rather have them on a weeknight.  Sold out venue on a weeknight isn't happening for small(er) markets on the interpol/SP tour.
Hence the MSG shows on Monday nights. The rent is too damn high!

So do we expect the announcement tomorrow? Dare we hope for a new playlist/video with another set of cities?
I think it is tomorrow based on the leaks showing up today
Are we assuming a few more cities that didn't show up today? So far we have is MSP, chicago, Indy DFW, and Austin?

Guessing weekend shows will be announced after weeknight shows sell out. Pretty sure they've done this in the past...

Have they though? The only "additional date" that readily comes to mind is that one in 2010.

...and kind of Wrigley/Fenway 2016, but those dates were announced in the original tour announcement with "more details soon" right?

Fort Worth is a great town, glad they are getting a chance to have the DFW show this time around.

Pearl Jam hasn't played a proper tour stop in TX since 2013 in Dallas. In 2014 and 2009, they played ACL Festival twice. Playing TX 4 times seems like a reach.

Man, still waiting for anything on Vegas (and Philly?)

There have been 0 legit Vegas rumors. Just hope. Don't count on it
I seriously will need to hit Vegas around that time for a dentist appointment. I can let the band know if that will help.

(Things people didn't discuss on this forum in 1996).

What are the leaked dates again?
    St Paul 8/31 & 9/2
    Chicago 9/5 & 9/7
    Indy 9/10
    Ft Worth 913 & 9/15
    Austin 9/18 & 9/19
  • For anyone thinking MiA...that ship has probably sailed. The lineups the last few years have been GARBAGE...a bunch of music for Gen Z'ers. As someone who lives down the street from the philly art museum, it's just young kids there anymore. MIA doesn't have rock acts and only caters to the young crowd now.
I'm glad someone else said it. 100% agree.  Someone challenged me, last time I posted something similar this this.

That shipped sailed after year 5.

I’ve been thinking about this and maybe it’s a political push? Some believe that TX is becoming a swing state. Idk, I’m just glad we are getting anything.

These are the best leaks since someone guessed the unpublished URL for an unannounced AMS2 Euro show which allowed purchasing any ticket in the venue! (I did not partake but I remember the occasion.).
I had a friend do for a whole Britney Spears tour in 2001 and he made $$$ scalping tickets on Ebay.

Thanks, Doubletree booked for MSP with points. Easy to cancel if shows aren't happening.
