With the demand PJ has, paying additional booking fees for the premium dates is unnecessary.
Venues would actually rather have them on a weeknight. Sold out venue on a weeknight isn't happening for small(er) markets on the interpol/SP tour.0 -

Guessing weekend shows will be announced after weeknight shows sell out. Pretty sure they've done this in the past...
Have they though? The only "additional date" that readily comes to mind is that one in 2010.
...and kind of Wrigley/Fenway 2016, but those dates were announced in the original tour announcement with "more details soon" right?Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
What hotel for Chicago does everyone recommend?Noblesville 5.7.2010. Lexington 4.26.2016. Nashville 9.16.2022. St Louis 9.18.2022.
Chicago 1 9.5.2023. Chicago 2 9.7.2023.

Pearl Jam hasn't played a proper tour stop in TX since 2013 in Dallas. In 2014 and 2009, they played ACL Festival twice. Playing TX 4 times seems like a reach.Buffalo, New York (May 10, 2010)Hamilton, Ontario (September 15, 2011)Budweiser Gardens (July 16, 2013)Buffalo, NY (October 12, 2013)Detroit, MI (October 16, 2014)Toronto 1 (May 10, 2016)Toronto 2 (May 12, 2016)Chicago Night 1 (August 18, 2018)Chicago Night 2 (August 20, 2018)Hamilton, Ontario (September 06, 2022)0

As someone who lives down the street from the philly art museum, it's just young kids there anymore. MIA doesn't have rock acts and only caters to the young crowd now.I'm glad someone else said it. 100% agree. Someone challenged me, last time I posted something similar this this. That shipped sailed after year 5.
