I believe Matt Cord from MMR use to post on here occasionally. Would be a good time for him to pop in and say hi.can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?0

Don't want to overshadow Mike's birthday with a tour announcement today. That's all I can come up with.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0 -
It would be a good time for a friendly, how do you do. Matt Cord moved stations and is on 102.9 WMGK now.MakeUSmile said:I believe Matt Cord from MMR use to post on here occasionally. Would be a good time for him to pop in and say hi.

If they are actually playing this event I’d wager the station announces it at 8am followed by PJ unveiling the rest of the dates after 1pm. Not unheard of.MakeUSmile said:But maybe the radio station’s wacky concert cash gimmick is built around a pj tour announcement?!? Lol.All seriousness… 8:00 am eastern time is an odd time for a tour announcement. Would make more sense for PJ tour to be announced prior (like today or tomorrow) and then this added on afterwards.9/13/98, 10/4/00, 4/29/03, 6/29/03, 7/2/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 5/12/06, 5/13/06, 6/27/08, 6/28/08, 6/30/08, 10/30/09, 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 10/19/13, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/25/13, 10/27/13, 9/26/15, 4/28/16, 4/29/16, 8/5/16, 8/7/16, 8/13/18, 9/2/18, 9/4/18, 9/26/21, 9/1/22, 9/2/22, 9/14/22, 9/18/23, 9/19/23, 9/7/24, 9/9/24, 9/12/24, 9/15/24, 9/17/24, 5/16/25, 5/18/250 -
Ahhh, gotcha. I went to college in south jersey. WMMR was my go to station down there. Always enjoyed Matt.10LordsALeaping said:

I feel lucky that while I live on an Island, I live between Vancouver and Seattle. Sometimes they both get dates on the same tour, and there's been years where they haven't.thomascbullock said:
I continue to be surprised how little they play here. 1 arena show and 2 ballpark shows in ten years. I realized some places would kill even for that, but cmon, it’s their home ffs!jimjam1982 said:
I still got a hunch seattle lands 2 to 3 gigs.seanclaxton said:Do we think the only city thats getting 2 shows is chicago?
Seattle 2018
Pemberton 2016
Seattle/Vancouver 2013
Vancouver 2011 (still weird there was no Seattle show on the pj20 tour).
Seattle/Vancouver 2009
Gorge '06
Gorge and Vancouver 2005
Vancouver 2003
Seattle 2002
The key is to go to the shows in both markets
I feel pretty lucky that between the two Cities (and their surrounding areas like Gorge or Pemberton) there's a show every handful of years. It's been 5 years since the last pacific north west shows, but I'm letting that slide as they took a year off, then covid derailed them for 2 years after that.
It would be weird if Seattle doesn't get a show. If the new album rumours are true, it would be really weird for Seattle to not have a Gigaton tour show.

It’s not Pearl Jam headlining the MMRBQ… Trust me.aisleseats said:
It's possible. I mean, most festivals won't allow artists to announce that they'll be playing until the festival itself has dropped the lineup. Maybe PJ wants to announce all dates at once, but can't announce that they're playing there until after the station does.JimmyV said:
This is an indicator that it's not Pearl Jam. Maybe they would play this thing and maybe they wouldn't, but no way a tour announcement is built around one radio station's wacky Concert Cash gimmick.Doug87 said:Did Pierre say MMRBQ? Yes, he said MMRBQ. Specifically he said "MMRBQ in September." He added that that lineup and date of the show will be announced on Monday, April 10th at the same time as the first Concert Cash keyword is given out. That's 8am if you need a reminder.
I honestly don't know. It's all just a guessing game at this point."If you're like me, then you know me"

My theory is that they expected to announce everything yesterday but hit a snag. Maybe one date or city had to change and they needed some extra time to iron that out.PJNB said:Reasons why I am thinking its today or tomorrow.
Santos coming out publicly saying keep your membership up to date has always meant an announcement is very close.
The early newsletter. The 10th is coming up. Why would they have an early newsletter with membership renewal hints if they were just going to blow past the 10th with no tour announcement.
Unless the tour is announced on the 10th. That would make sense for an early newsletter.1996: Toronto 1998: Barrie 2000: Saratoga Springs 2003: Buffalo, Toronto 2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto 2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1 2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla 2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon 2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford 2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton 2012: Missoula 2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC0 -

Multiple cities will get two dates.
No cities will get more than two.
No Seattle.
This tour will be geographically similar to USA 2014.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

What is surprising to me is that there are no secret shows where they work out the kinks before a tour. No shows at the Showbox or the Crocodile where most people hear about it after the fact. Maybe they just think it would a circus, which it probably would be.thomascbullock said:
