Just a preorder but I am pretty pumped for this. I also preordered the five 7’s they currently have available from this album and I am hoping they release 7’s for all the songs at some point.

I am in the DC area visiting family. I went to a record convention today. It was packed. I passed on buying a lot of the classic rock stuff since I can get those easily in NYC. But there was a vendor selling Dischord stuff so I figured DC would be a great place to get those. The insert for the Scream record has a very young Dave Grohl on the drums. The guy threw in the Bikini Kill single for free.

    Good focused hunt.

I get overwhelmed walking into a small record store.

Finally got a copy of Dave and Tim Live at Luther College. As advertised, it's quite an incredible cut on vinyl.

Pressed at MPO and not the best pressing IMO. LP4 has a slight warp, but even more concerning, is that all 4 LPs are slightly off center. Has anyone else noticed this? I find it hard to believe it is just my set. It is not terribly noticeable, but I thought I heard it in some of the guitar parts, and sure enough, there is a little sway in my cartridge.
    9/1/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/12/03, 10/1/04, 9/28/05, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/1/06, 6/27/08, 6/30/08, 8/7/08 (EV), 6/12/09 (EV), 10/27/09, 10/28/09,10/30/09, 10/31/09, 5/21/10, 6/15/11 (EV), 9/2/12, 7/19/13, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/27/13, 4/28/16, 4/29/16, 8/7/16, 11/4/16 (TOTD), 8/18/18, 8/20/18, 9/24/21 (EV&Earthlings), 9/26/21, 9/11/2022, 9/14/2022

I have the first pressing, colored swirl edition.  Since you just got it, and it was out of print for a few years, I'm sure that's a new problem.  Mine is on center, no warp.  Although I do use a clamp so warps go away pretty easily.

On a similar note, the preorders are up for Walk Around the Moon.  The lavender one is on their website.  Amazon black is only $20, which is great.  Two 'older' songs are on the record, Break Free which has been played for years, and Madman's Eyes which showed up a few tours ago.

I really need to preorder that Lavender.  I haven't had this high of hopes for a DMB record since Everyday.  I'm hoping for a late career masterpiece.

PJPitt.  My Luther College has no warping and the grooves all seem centered with no distortion that I could hear.  I also have the new repress.  You may have just got a flawed copy.

Thanks ^^ Maybe I'm just too critical, I will listen/look again. I think I ordered the new album from Amazon because it had dropped to about $18. I've found their last couple albums to have a few bright spots. But all I really want is a Before These Crowded Streets reissue..

An oldie (but not that old, lol) that I somehow have never had.  Not a great copy, but playable.  Some great early Stones here:

Picked up the Dark Side of the Moon Live at Wembley release. Enjoyable listen, but what a dirty, dirty record. Mine came out of the inner sleeve all scuffed up. Noticed lots of specs and pieces of vinyl inside of the sleeve. I’d recommend to anyone who purchases this to not pull the record out of the inner sleeve. Cut the inner sleeve down a seam and replace it.

Mine came out fairly clean. No black specs in the window of the inner sleeve. I did have to clean off a bit of dust. But otherwise, it sounds great.

No. The shelves are ok for now. I will take your advice and buy the Kallax. My friend who has a car said he would take me to the Ikea in Brooklyn. So, I will do that within the next few months.

I could - but I still am going to wait a bit. Tempo stopped by a few weeks ago when he was in my neighborhood and thought my bookcase with my records looked unstable. I think they are ok in the short term as long as I don't keep adding much more weight to them. They have been standing for 3 years this way. So, he helped me measure the space and look at Kallax online. I don't have horizontal space so I have to build them vertically. I have a vertical shelf now - but it is not anchored to the wall. My friend who is going to take me to Ikea also will help me put them together and anchor them to the wall. He is a contractor. I just need to find some time. I think what I have will be fine for a bit longer. But I am not putting more records on it. I am out of space on that bookcase anyway.

My local shop took this in as part of a collection. Same show as the RSD release coming out next month, but has a few more songs than the RSD release. it sounds pretty good, but the title is a bit dicey.
