This is it exactly. 9 shows here, 7 shows there...we are arguing over scraps. No region has gotten the DMB/Gorge or Phish/MSG treatment.tino_11 said:
You can't really compare a whole continent against the West Coast of the US. If they really take this year off, 2024 better be an overwhelming (at least for PJ standards) amount of dates. This keeps getting more depressingPittsburgh 2013

You ain't kidding... if you told me back in September of '18 that I wouldn't see Pearl Jam for at least 5 more years I would have laughed at the idea.If they really take this year off, 2024 better be an overwhelming (at least for PJ standards) amount of dates. This keeps getting more depressing

Wake up this morning, and my wife is literally running around the house, giddy for Taylor tonight. Reminds me of every time I've been blessed to see PJ. Man, I hope a tour happens this year.0

The first two signed mystery posters we've seen make it unlikely they were all together signing them in a studio. I didn't really think they were, but that suggestion has been made.___________________________________________

Next year is an election year….
So pretty likely to be a busy year (second half of the year, at least).Sadly, doesn’t bode well for many shows this year. Certainly hope I’m wrong.0

Hard to say if that will have an impact. If you look at 2008, 2012 and 2016, outside of maybe the 2012 show in Missoula, it really doesn't look like they made this a prioritypjruss said:Next year is an election year….

While I love the Foo Fighters, I really hope MFC doesn't replace Taylor. It wouldn't necessarily mean no tour dates for PJ this year. But it would negate the rumored PJ September shows.HughFreakingDillon said:Matt rumored to be Foos drummer on upcoming tour. That means nada for PJ in 2023.0

Atom Willard is also supposedly filling in for FF.
Matt kind of thrives on the intensity of it all. At Encore, he sat in with Brandi Carlisle, Joe Wong and NHC in addition to PJ. So wear and tear probably isn’t an issue. If Foo only has (16) shows fairly spaced out, with MC doing 12ish, the workaround for PJ shouldn’t be that big of a deal either.
Although he did navigate Covid since then0

It would not negate that in my opinion. There are only 4 FF dates in Sept., easy to work around, and the FF rumor is a rotation between MC and the other dude anyway.aisleseats said:

Currently. And they're every weekend that month. With one of them having them out of the country on a weekend that PJ was rumored to be playing. So, while not impossible, highly unlikely.RatherStarved said:

He might just be biting at the bit to get out on the road hence go out on the road with FF, we just don’t know the inner workings of this band or FF after all they are all friends,Merkin Baller said:
