Tickets releasing here friday. Hmm. Two shows at Ullevi. Hmm. Honestly I don't think Metallica works at big outdoor venues. They need the dark, with the pyro and all. Even more sad seeing Ghost open during the sunny bright day.

Yeah, went digging on where my 22 set is, it's on the way, and saw the message I missed in my Inbox about them cancelling.

It was pretty well received too.

That was pretty darn good. I'm very impressed, it's been awhile since I've seen them live but the next time they come to S Florida I'll try to there.

That's super interesting that Metallica bought their own vinyl pressing plant.

Really?!?  Then maybe the vinyl club will be back and we will get stuff like the Grateful Dead?  Only problem is the set lists don't change much from show to show...

Except they bought a plant that was already pressing vinyl, so all it does is pushes their orders to the top of the list, but doesn't generally help the industry?  That's crazy the demand is high enough now, that the only way bands can get albums pressed in a timely fashion is to buy their own plant?

Makes yo wonder how many plants shut down over the years?  Also how the hell did record companies produce good sounding albums if all you can get off of a plate was a few hundred records?!?

Sort of.  I think he said his health prevents him from touring, but I think he's like a pro sports player, or a veteran pro wrestler.  He doesn't want to stop, but his body isn't letting him to do it.   I guess he figures he can do a 1 off?

I think it's more Sharon that doesn't want him to stop.

The statement he put out (if I recall) was the rigors of touring/the travel was the issue. Not performing.
So since this is a show close to home he's probably fine.
