I think he's saying that most sexual assailants don't do it because they can't get laid (though I'm sure some do). They do it to control/manipulate the victim and treat them like an object or a toy. If Watson wanted sex, there's more than enough available high-end escorts out there he could've gone to.

Bingo.....this wasnt about getting laid. Any dummy with a lil dough can get some, nevermind a high profile rich athlete. Something aint right with this guy or the countless other celebs that thrive off the POWER dynamic. They feel they are untouchable and can do whatever....sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you dont. This guy was sloppy. Also READ what the judge said...Agreed it was ASSAULT .....

I tend not to apply motives to people's behavior when there is zero evidence to support it.  This is completely conjecture.

Well yeah it's conjecture. It has to be. I can't get inside this guy's head. But there's research that suggests that many (not all, but many) sexual assailants do it for the reasons I mentioned. So that's my guess regarding Watson's behavior. What your guess? Why did your new hero have over sixty massage therapists and over twenty have accused him of sexual harassment or sexual assault? This isn't a courtroom, it's a message board. So feel free to speculate. Conjecture is a-okay here.

Conjecture is a-ok, but everyone wants to eliminate someone's career based on their amateur psycho-analysis, lack of grand jury indictment and court settlements.  Sorry, I don't subscribe to that mindset regardless of the athlete.  I despise Big Ben, and he was accused (not convicted) of violent assault.  I never once thought he should be taken out of the league because of it.

What's my guess why he did it?  He probably has some sort of massage fetish.  It was cheap, easy and he got his share of strange from young women who weren't prostitutes.  Seems pretty simple to me.

How many people learn from mistakes before they are pinched?  He probably thinks he didn't do anything wrong.  And did he?  Did he do something wrong by asking for sex or propositioning?  What are the specific accusations by the four women that the NFL used to make their case?  Did he force them, manhandle them, rape them?  Not that I have heard or read.  Is it criminal to ask a girl for a hummer?  Is that even 'morally' wrong?

    What about in the workplace?
May not be criminal, but certainly violates conduct/harassment codes and grounds for punishment or termination.
This certainly is similar to that.

He wasn't in the workplace.  Unless you're making the argument that since he was getting massages organized by the team, that he was.  But that gets into the argument that the Texans org is equally culpable since they set up the hotel room and even provided him an NDA to give the masseurs.  These are the issues that make it difficult for the NFL to get into the federal discovery.  Why would Watson be punished and the team receive no loss of draft picks, fines, forfeited games, etc.?

Now the federal judge found that he violated the NFL's definition of assault, so that's why she suspended him.  But what I don't know is what is that definition.  I haven't seen it.  But that definition is not the same as a criminal one, we know that much.

Well the team didn't sign the NDA, they provided a standard form.  The masseuses signed it.

But to the point, this is the evidence that the team was aware and facilitated the situation, therefore share some culpability.  Instead, the league seeks to limit the punishment to the Black guy.  And, the league isn't even satisfied with the order of a federal judge, they want to punish further. We're all on board with this, right?

Think the Shits play DeShitbag Watson the entire 1st preseason game?
Could be his only meaningful action this year.
