A bit over 14 hours later, it's still there.

    Is this because:
    United?
There's a metric ton of these?
    Both?
    Other?

I'd think a PJ album originally from the 90s would have been gone in minutes.

probably because there's a metric tonne of them.   with so many pressed, it doesn't seem it was a hard find at record stores yesterday.. so I'm gathering most people found a copy.. so now it's collectors wanting the other color for the collection?

Who chose the color "Gold". It doesn't work at all with the art or the blue labels...

What is the point of gold.

Another colored vinyl afterthought in the world of selling vinyl
Exactly my thoughts, if it was the same blue as the label then I’d buy it.

Multiple variants of decades old releases, but we can't get one decent hat in the shop.

Why is shipping cost so outrageous? $35 to Canada. Shipping cost more than the item? This makes me sad 😔
yep. soon as I saw the shipping...$100 CDN all tolled....NOPE

The shipping seems inconsistent.  When i ordered vault 2 it seemed cheaper than normal.  Its getting pretty rare for records to ship to Canada for under 20usd.  Im finding many stores charge 22 to 25.  30 is on the higher end, but shipping overall is getting mental :(
Did you go with UPS int or Std?  UPS is $3 cheaper but you'll definitely pay duty and usually don't with the std. Int.

I went with standard (usps).  Most of the time stuff arrives without taxes assessed.   UPS is awful.   They make a bunch of money off the brokerage, so they have a vested interest in assessing brokerage every time (and charing you brokerage fees which are usually way more than the tax owed).

UPS is the worse (unless you use a shipping option that includes the brokerage).  As a rule of thumb I try to avoid couriers all together for cross border shipments.  USPS to Canada Post routinely lets things slide (they must do random assessments or something).   If they do charge you the brokerage fee isn't the worse ($10).  I know its usually slower but this has been my preference since 20+ years ago when I got a nasty bill surprise from UPS ;(

For Jeff's latest skateboard I spoke to so many UPS reps just to get the forms via email to complete the B15 at customs so I don't pay their insane brokerage fees. They wanted $60 total. I only paid $15. It's NUTS!!!

Yeah USPS to Canada Post fees are so much better. Not as intense as what UPS is asking.

If they sent an email they would be gone in three hours… ie fresh pressed at what was probably similar numbers

id bet most people have no idea it’s even an option

id rather have the gold personally. Only because there aren’t 20,000 of them.

As the guy that owns the local record store told me, the press amount is similar to a normal full blown regular release, not a limited RSD release. These aren't rare, and many of us bought the clear one on Saturday. If they had released these on Friday, they would of sold out right away for sure.

Unfortunate for sure... A little ironic that a clear version from Europe is cheaper(to my door) than a gold version from 10C

Must be... I have the OG and just see no reason to have these new pressings. There are a ton of them, so it's not like it would be a super special rare item to have in my collection - I can't justify the purchase when I already have a copy. But I suppose I am proud of myself for not being in too deep, hahaha. I know and understand the feeling of not being able to resist, but apparently I'm not in that zone at this point in my life, lol.
