I have been listening the hell out of “Wasting Light.”  I enjoyed it when it came out, but I keep loving it more and more as I listen to it now.
I listened to Wasting Light last night, hadn't listened to it in a long time, probably one of their best if you ask me.

    It's a great record IMO

It's good. But the peak was In your Honor.

Let's all get on the same page here.

Really need to listen to an album a night and determine my favourite Foo Fighters record but remember liking In your Honor a lot when it came out. I haven't listened to it in years, I've got the deluxe cd and the vinyl box sitting here so no excuses.

I’d probably have them ranked as:

    Wasting Light
    In Your Honour
    The Colour and the Shape

I do like some of their more recent releases such as Sonic Highways, Concrete and Gold and Medicine at Midnight. Maybe they just won’t go down as memorable albums from the Foo’s catalogue in the long term.

Towards the bottom I’d have Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. Just never liked that one at all.

I watched Back And Forth again last night. Man, watching Dave talk about Kurt after all those years gone by, and his relationship with Taylor, I'm 98% sure the Foos are finished for good. I think he takes a long break from music and then finds a band and goes back to drumming. Maybe TCV?
    Darwinspeed, all.

John Paul Jones isn't getting any younger, and who the fuck knows what's up with Josh Homme these days.

Me too. Elephants is still one of the most insane songs I've ever heard! When it kicks in, man, SO fucking heavy!! Like what the hell tuning are they using! Satan's B minor?!

Slightly morbid but I'm guessing this one is going to be tricky to get with Taylor's passing. Managed to get Medium Rare and Laundry Rooms RSDs when released but missed out on Dee Gees last year. The covers weren't really my thing tbh.

a local record shop did an auction for Dee Gees for charity and it went for $500 CDN.

I was checking out Dee Gees vinyl on Discogs last night and the lowest price was $250 USD.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I got one at RSD last year. I went in for the PJ EP, and happened to see it when I was going through the RSD section, so I grabbed one as well. I can't believe it went up so much in value. I think it was $27. I have listened to it a few times.

I would definitely get one. I would have loved to have gone to one of these. Maybe they will bring one to NYC.
