    Totally shocking.
No offense intended here, but I would have though this would garner it's own thread.  To me, Hawkins was the best thing about this band.  Very, very sad.

There is a thread for him on The Porch. So sad. Such a shock. He was amazing.

Oh good, very cool.  I missed it, thank you.
Yeah, what great energy.  I loved some of those FF performances on Letterman.  Taylor's energy lit up the screen.

Sad sad news. Not sure why this death hits hard for me since Dave is the face of the Foo's and the albums wrote solely by him for the Foo's resonate with me the most. However I shed a tear reading the news of Taylor's passing. A rock drummer legend in my eyes. Life is fucking short.

Pretty stunned. Actually really like his NHC stuff they put out recently. Wonder what this means for the band.

My sister texted me the news before it was all over the internet. For a few seconds I was hoping it was some weird publicity stunt for their movie. It would fit the theme. But sadly, no.

That one came out of nowhere. I’m sorry to hear about this. I don’t know what time about him but I did see Foo Fighters a few times and he is definitely one of the most entertaining performers I’ve ever seen on the drums.

I like this one from Letterman where they cover War Pigs with Zac Brown (also timely). Lots of Taylor on camera in the back with his infectious spirit smile combined with drummer grimace.
