@Lerxst1992 Do you think the demand is really there in Texas?
Not only is there demand, there is disposable income.

From the number of PJ license plates and paraphernalia i see around town and how well any rock-based shows sell in this city, it can't be worse than some of these other dates.

Houston is the 4th largest city in the country, with a suburban population that stretches half way to Dallas in the north and san Antonio in the west.. and they haven't been here in almost 20 years...  The only time they came close was Ed's 2012 solo tour where Houston sold out the biggest venue of the entire tour on back to back nights...

I think your question is moot.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

LA1&2 are the only shows in May requiring VF code to buy available face value tickets.  Why?  Just trying to pump up the PJ Premium sales?
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

Yes, I would guess because those are the shows where demand is highest.

^ This X 100.  They could easily do an entire tour in Texas and it would be much more profitable than California.  More importantly, the fans here would actually get into the show and rock harder than the Coachella, self absorbed, selfie obsessed, so called fans of the left coast.  Unfortunately, the band still hasn’t realized that everyone from the north has moved down here and it isn’t the same place from 1985.
  • I find it hard to believe that they are avoiding TX because of politics when they are playing in Oklahoma, a state that just banned abortion. Also, I'm a broken record about this but DC is as blue as can be, so blue the fuckers won't make us a state, and they haven't been here in 14 years

They aren't avoiding Texas or anywhere else because of politics. There may be other reasons, but politics is unlikely to be one of them.

Bunch more PJ Premiums showed up today for LA2.  Still no way to buy available face value tickets without VF code.  Still no idea when F2F may start.  Infuriating.

I decided after the 10C drawing and VF stuff to do Oakland 2.  Should I just buy one of the regular tix or wait for fan 2 fan or a ticket drop?
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

The irony being all the people who are still on the "waitlist" to get one.  :D

I was on the "wait list."  I never got a code.  I was tending to believe there was no actual "wait list" and it was just pretend.  But I read on here that some people on the "wait list" actually got codes.  Can anyone on here who was on this supposed "wait list" "verify" that they got a code, and what show did they request a code for?

I got a code initially and it ended up unlocking tickets for any show that I looked at.

I should've requested Fresno.  Would've got a code.  I'll know to do that to outsmart TM next time.

I am not sure if it opened up all of the shows at first or if it was after a few hours.

When was the last Houston arena show?   That city has like three downtowns.  I never know when I’m actually downtown.   Skyscrapers over on this side and then a bunch of skyscrapers in the distance.

NOLA has been Voodoo Fest and Jazz Fest.  They played to about 45,000 people last time.  Pretty sure they can sell out arenas there too if they wanted.   It’s always cool to see them play in the daytime tho.

    Atlanta -  same

    04/09 update:
    • Those OKC 100's & 200's sold well, and more could pop up.
    • Vegas "Premium" has dropped considerably in the past 2 weeks. Hold fast!
    • Fresno & SAC still have the best availability for the new shows. California as a whole is a great value, if you can make a show. I still think Oakland should close off the behind stage seats, and have ushers comp upgrade people when the doors open.
    • The Los Angeles Forum quietly went through a name change (the O.G.. Great Western Forum), and is now known as the Kia Forum. Ignore it, lol. Still a better name than the "crypto dot com arena"... :#

I don’t think crypto arena is a good name at all but I don’t know why people miss the building being named after an office supplies store.

I think it's just familiarity. Like they hear Staples Center, and then think Kobe or Lebron. I never liked that name either, I'm just glad we get to see PJ in another classic building like the Forum.

Yeah the Forum and MSG are all that’s left from those days man.
